Positive: The location is nice and silent. Easy to reach nice medieval villages such as Assisi, Foligna. They have a rustic ranch environment. Price for stay was ok. The people in the kitchen were nice and friendly, they also provided room tidying and towel change everyday. The bed was comfortable. The pool is nice.

Negative: If you want to be involved with place’s daily life it is interesting and rustic as there is a lot of social going on with their family life and visitors, kids, animals, etc. If you are looking for tranquility it is too much of socials going on in your living space. Cleaning was not spot on. When we arrived the floor was not clean, there were some hair. There was not much hospitality and talk from the owners. We paid 35 eur per person for dinner menu in the restaurant without drinks. Comparing with other places price is high for the value we got. The room is strange, bathroom and wc was downstairs with no windows. After every shower the bedroom itself was totally humid and warm as shower didnt have any doors. This created some mosquito attacks. Drive way is narrow and complicated. If you are not used to might be challenging. It was an ok stay but we expected more calm and care.

Positive: We had a great stay at this property! The location was perfect—close to everything we needed and easy to get around. The home had all the amenities we could ask for, which made our stay very comfortable. The owner was extremely helpful and responsive, which really added to the positive experience. Would definitely recommend and would love to stay here again!

Positive: We booked this without realizing it was in the Assisi valley- which is exceptionally beautiful! Malvarina is on a mountain slope on the sides of this enormous valley- with rustic clean rooms and an elegantly casual restaurant, the environs prodding us to walk around and enjoy the peace and quiet. Staff is friendly and interested in creating a welcoming atmosphere.

Negative: We were so pleased with our experience that I have to say there was nothing we didn't like. The owners were gracious and helpful and always offering suggestions to make our stay in the area exceptional.

Summary: Heaven on earth!
