Summary: This was my 4th or 5th stay and while the service is excellent the hotel is showing either its age or neglect. Furniture in my room was worn, the bed was lumpy and the lighting way too muted. Think my next visit to Reading might require a new venue. All of that said the reception staff and the housekeeping staff were excellent/

Summary: I’ve forgotten the name of the lady at reception (Iannou???). She made me feel very welcome and was super helpful in answering my questions and giving me a 5 star guest experience. Please pass on my gratitude.

Summary: Good Aspects: Location, Size and comfort of room, quality of evening meal. Poor Aspects: Inefficient shower, Lighting in room including ineffective mirrors making shaving etc difficult. No staff at reception when checking out at 10.30 am.

Summary: It was good. The room was generally clean, but there were a few signs that it hadn't been deep-cleaned for a while, plus there was only one plug socket i could use as the other two with the lamps plugged in were a weird round shape. The staff were friendly, but when I checked in, I was bombarded by a few upselling promotions, which I just found unnecessary and annoying after a long journey,
