Positive: Location was excellent, in beautiful green Karen with loads of bird song and close to where I need to be. I usually stay in Nairobi for up to 5 weeks at a time , this was my first time and definately I have found my return place. The hosts were kind, friendly and caring. I loved the cottage I stayed in, the Lamu bed and interior furniture.

Negative: Nothing, all was perfect!

Summary: It was a perfect place for me for my usual long stays. Lovely hosts, warm friendly

Positive: It was clean. The bed was great. The essentials were there and if good quality.

Negative: Nothing. The construction activities were a bit distressing. We just wished there was a notice but that is all okay. We enjoyed the stay all together.

Positive: The studio is located within the grounds of a large villa. It's really nicely decorated and beautiful. We loved the bed, it was incredibly comfortable and the shower that was really big. The wifi worked perfectly. The staff is really lovely, helpful, and easy to communicate with. The area is also beautiful, very green, with really cute cafes, restaurants and shops. If we visit Nairobi again, we would love to stay at Makyo again!

Positive: Excellent communication, very friendly welcome, private, clean and excellent facilities.

Negative: Dogs at the property were barking from 1-3am when trying to sleep. No bath towels initially but this was just an oversight and these were then provided when we mentioned it.
