Positive: Safe and quiet location within a fenced community; Very good wifi; Beautiful gardens full of fruit trees; Some board games available for entertainment; Breakfast was pleasant and contained all the essentials, plus some delicious pancakes and fruit. Big shoutout to Esther who was extremely kind and helpful, and made sure we always had what we needed.

Negative: Not much to do and no TV in the living room; Hosts were around but we never got to meet them; Location of guest kitchen is not convenient as it's a bit far from the main house. Some things in the family room could use an update, especially the bathroom. Would have appreciated a more sober and modern decor, rather than all the reds and oranges.

Positive: Great little bed and breakfast with a beautiful garden. Met most of our needs very well

Negative: Upon checkout i was reminded by a staff member that I still needed to pay, we were rushing returning the keys with a taxi waiting so this was not ideal, I had already submitted my card details upon booking. The gym was not very well equipped

Positive: Room and Breakfast were good. Room was clean and bed comfortable. It was quite private. Bernard was always responsive.

Negative: Approach of Edaala comfort seemed mainly American style, e.g. everything in English, pancakes at breakfast, etc. The transport arranged by the accommodation was expensive compared to the going rate.

Positive: Comfortable beds, great breakfast, access to a small kitchen well stocked to make own food, great location in Karen near giraffe center & Sheldrick.

Negative: No hot water on the first day (resolved after talking with host), large holes in mosquito nets, and a bit awkward to put in place, would have liked more contact/local advice from hosts, but when we texted for info we got quick answers.

Positive: Pretty much everything! Esther, who looks after the guests is a delight, warm and friendly and always willing to help. The breakfast is just superb, unpretentious and simple but delicious and satisfying. I particularly recommend Esther’s pancakes! Scrupulously clean and run by owners, Bernard and Jean who are friendly, engaging and always there for helpful local advice.

Negative: The only thing I didn’t like was that I didn’t spend more time there!
