Positive: I enjoyed the breakfast more it was personalized in that they lovely ladies served us breakfast from our own cottage and the food was delicious.

Summary: I really enjoyed the morning breeze in the middle of the farm and liked privacy of the cottage.

Positive: Breakfast was really a bonus, wonderfully prepared and a big spread, reminded me of my grandma's cooking.

Negative: The hostess could have taken more time with us, only showed us our room and left. A little bit more interaction would have made all the difference, you know, that unique old "Boere-gasvryheid". Although it was advertised as pet friendly, we got the scare of our lifes when their big dog ran towards our small doggie - maybe keep them behind railings while there are guests.

Summary: I wanted to experience an old-fashioned farm stay and the interior of our room was amazing.

Positive: The room was very clean and comfortable. The host was friendly and helpful. Security was tight and we felt safe and at ease. Makoadi Farms is a beautiful home away from home for the tourist passing through.

Negative: Clocolan doesn't offer much for the tourist and the streets is a nightmare to drive on.
