Nature and peacefulness is all around you at this beautiful home on Goose Lake. Our family has had this home for 18 years, kids are getting older so I would like to share with you our home and our love of Wisconsin. You can find enough to explore and do staying at the house or you can drive to the Dells which is only about 30 minutes away. We are located on the main part of the lake with our own pier, which will be getting a make over in the spring due to high water levels the last 2 years. We have a paddle boat, 2 stand up paddle boards 1 kayak and a fishing boat. Goose Lake is an 85 acre motorized lake but also offers the best fishing around. The lake itself is a bit weedy and in some spots mucky but you can swim if you choose at the frontage or at the public beach area. Our house is on a dead end street which makes for a private atmosphere. Take a walk around the lake, see if you can see a sand hill crane or stop and get a book at the free little library along the way. We have plenty of land for you to play horseshoes, badminton, bags, ladder ball, bocce ball, soccer, baseball, you name it we have it supplied for you or bring your own lawn games to enjoy. There is also a lower level rec room with a pool table, foos ball table, water rafts and 2nd full size fridge waiting for you to stock with a cold drinks so you don't have to run upstairs to the fridge. The lower level has patio doors to walk out to yard or view the lake while you play a game of pool. The house has 2 bedrooms one bath on main floor and 2 bedrooms one bath on the second floor. The kitchen is fully stocked to make dinners or grill out on the patio. We have plenty of board games, card games, bingo, coloring book and toys. No wi-fi or cable but 2 TV's with VCR to watch a movie that maybe you have not seen in awhile. We have regular movies and kids movie titles available. The town of Oxford is about 10 minute drive if you forgot something there is a dollar general and a liquor store. On weekends they have flea markets. There is also a laundromat and restaurant in town. Whether you are here to relax, reconnect or have some adventure you will find it all and more, we look forward to sharing our house with your family. We hope you make lots of great memories and would be honored to be a part of them. We know your dog is part of your family so we allow all well behaved dogs to vacation with you. Summary: Three 8th graders in a small school raised money to go somewhere to celebrate before high-school. They are laid-back kids that love the outdoors. This place has a nice lake to fish, paddle boat, kayaking, big yard for laser tag, and if the weather was crummy games inside. many games iinside to play.

Summary: We were in town to celebrate an 80th birthday in the Dells. The beautiful Lake House was the perfect sanctuary after a day spent in the hullabaloo. As great as the pictures look, the reality is even better - the pictures do not do justice. The lake is sublime, and the house is gorgeous, comfortable, and roomy. We look forward to a return trip!

Summary: Our family enjoyed a spring break without cell service/wi-fi. It’s close enough to The Dells yet peaceful and away from the hustle and bustle. Our dogs loved the larger backyard to run in. No need to overpack, Lisa has everything you can imagine for games, dog toys/bed, kitchen utensils, bathroom products, coffee bar, extra fluffy blankets, etc. Top points—ice maker, dishwasher, downstairs game room away from sleeping areas, washer/dryer, peaceful location! Only thing I’d change is the “king bed” is two smaller beds pushed together and there’s a 4 inch difference in height. It didn’t ruin the trip by any means but was just different than expected.

Summary: Property is absolutely lovely. Nice big mostly secluded yard, easy access to water with vessels, great view from the common area and deck, loved the rec. room downstairs. The place had everything we needed and was very clean and cozy. The entire family -from childen to adults and even the dog -was entertsined. Highly reccomend!
