With over 300 square feet of windows, the home immerses you in the beauty of its surroundings. Inside, you’ll find warm touches everywhere—solid cherry paneling, wormy chestnut cabinets, and hardwood floors.
A cozy living area invites you to gather around the Vermont cast iron stove with gas logs, while high-speed fiber optic internet keeps you connected if you need to work or stream. An inside stairway leads to an enclosed observatory at the top of the dome—a perfectly romantic spot for stargazing above the tree canopy.
Step outside, where a spacious deck wraps halfway around the dome, providing the ideal spot to sip your morning coffee or watch the sunset. Just beyond the kitchen door, a stone pathway leads to the patio, where a swing, picnic table, and bubbling hot tub await your relaxation. Summary: We really enjoyed our stay at the quirky dome house Unforgettable. It's a beautiful peaceful location overlooking a pond with 2 fire pits and marked hiking trails right on the property. This was perfect to take the dog for a stroll each morning. Unfortunately, there was an issue with the water so we had to be moved halfway thru the trip. However, the owner and rental company were very responsive and made the move seamless. The 2nd cabin was equally as beautiful and well-kept. Definitely recommend this unique cabin and Carolina Mountain Vacation Rentals.

Summary: Really fun and beautiful place. The Christmas decor was so thoughtfully placed and you can tell someone put a whole lot of effort making it cozy and beautiful! We didn't need anything. They had extra of everything! We definitely heard the squirrels at night, but we turned on a box fan to drown out the noise and we slept great in the super comfortable beds. Water pressure wasn't the best, and the dishes weren't super clean, but we ran them in the dishwasher and they were fine.Overall a really beautiful and quiet place to stay. Our 3 preteens LOVED it!!! Memories to last a lifetime!

Summary: The seclusion can't be beat back in the woods quiet very relaxing it was cold so we didn't experience the hiking trails and pond but they looked amazing we will be staying again

Reviewer Comments: This is the most beautiful forest I have ever seen in this part of the country. The trails that surround the property we covered in a soft mat of moss and mushrooms were popping out everywhere as if they were planted just for us. The cabin provides a quirky little backdrop for this fairy forest. The only problem we had was that my wife was allergic to whatever cleaning product they used (maybe something they sprayed on the cushions or something inside). Her through closed up and her eyes started burning. This is an easy fix of course. After airing it out for 6 hours it was ok. Fair note to those visiting, the whole building is like a massive tent. The good news is that you won't have to worry about security because you can literally hear and feel everyone that moves inside and outside. haha. Again, it's quirky and fun. Definitely unforgettable. Would love to come again, especially if the harsh chemicals that were used in the cleaning process were replaced with something a bit less smelly and harsh.
