Serenity is on the northern shore of Port Stephens in the quiet waterfront community of South Pindimar.
Shopping, cafes & restaurants are a 15 min drive to Tea Gardens/Hawks Nest.
The house is 1 bedroom with a sofa bed for extra guests in the lounge.
Our undercover deck has views of Port Stephens.
Well behaved & self controlled pets are welcome to stay, however not on the furniture or beds please. Our yard is large enough to bring your horse & boat. Only 45 mins from Newcastle & 2.5 hours north of Sydney.

Summary: A quiet and peaceful retreat to escape the real world for a while. Welcoming hosts and very comfortable and clean accommodation surrounded be wonderful nature and an abundance of wildlife. The cherry on top is that it is pet friendly, a major selling point for me. For restaurants and cafes you would need to drive out to Tea Gardens or Hawks Nest but the kitchen in Serenity is fully stocked with every utensil, appliance and gadget you could possibly desire if you decided to bring supplies and cook your own meals. If you have had enough of the hustle and bustle of 9-5 city life, Serenity in Pindimar is the place to go.

Summary: We were in Pindimar for family xmas. Both Pindimar and Margarete's "Serenity" house are absolute hidden gems. It was our first time to this part of NSW and we enjoyed how quiet Pindimar is, with shops etc within easy reach in Tea Gardens. Margarete provided enough staples that we didn't need to head to the shops the first night we arrived. This was a godsend after our long drive from Melbourne. The set up inside the house exceeded expectations. I've never stayed at a holiday house with sharp knives and seriously well equipped kitchen with everything in beautiful condition. This meant we were able to prepare xmas lunch for 17 with ease (the actual gathering happened elsewhere). Margarete has a number of beautiful animals around the property, which we enjoyed watching and learning about. If you're wondering if this is where you'll stay on your next trip to the area, I'd highly recommend it.

Summary: Would recommend to anyone that needs time away from life or wants a great place to stay with their family!! The house was very tidy and I was very impressed with how it was presented it has amazing views of the ocean great to just sit on the patio with a wine and watch the sun go down and get back to basics would definitely go there again!!!!

Summary: Amazing host. Amazing venue. One bedroom with super comfy bed & linen. Great towels, walk in robe. Pantry & kitchen stocks were NEXT LEVEL. Snacks, condiments, jams, sauces, coffee pods, biscuits, Easter eggs as general items (we didn’t partake but the options were kind blowing). Dog & horse friendly, outdoor patio was EXCEPTIONAL. Daybed, two soft cushion lounges, table & wooden benches. Inside were games, gorgeous art, no screens :) but WiFi. Host was instantly responsive to questions yet was in no way invasive or over involved. Thus, we had comfort, privacy and an overwhelmingly positive experience.
