Positive: We had a very enjoyable stay. The room was large, airy and comfortable. The shower a little weak but the water was hot. The breakfast room was charming and the breakfast wholesome.

Positive: Maison Prémartine is perfectly located to see the old city of Le Mans. It is a beautiful house, separated from the street by a walled garden. The hostess gave us a very warm welcome, showing us our room and checking we had everything we needed for our one night stay. The room was beautifully furnished and very comfortable. There is a single secure parking space. Breakfast was delicious and very well presented.
Negative: For reasons of plumbing, the en suite bathroom does not contain a toilet. There was one for our exclusive use nearby but at our age we would have preferred something even closer!

Positive: Location was fabulous - just a 10 minute walk to city centre and a fabulous supermarket 2 mins walk away and boulangerie across road Charming quiet third-floor room with lots of light Historic charming property
Negative: No shampoo or body wash/soap supplied - which is strange considering price of room and would have been a major nuisance if nearby shops weren't open when we arrived so we could hastily purchase some Photos suggest guests have access to garden - but this is not the case - garden is for the owners use only and guests use a side entrance. It would have been nice to sit in garden and relax with a drink after a day of sighsteeing Hosts don't speak English - and we had to use online translator Narrow spiral stairs to navigate (not much fun with luggage) Motorcycle parking inside gated garden (no roof/cover) was 10 euros per day - which is crazy considering how little space a bike takes up and deep gravel was a challenge to move bike about Bed could have been larger/more comfortable, single-piece long/narrow pillow (which is shared by two people) uncomfortable and wall-mounted TV didn't work properly
Summary: Superb location and lucky to get a room during MotoGP weekend - but better/cheaper options available

Positive: Stunning location! The property is stunning inside and out with many traditional features. The rooms have been very tastefully decorated without losing their authenticity. It is perfectly located for the many bars and restaurants in Le Mans, has parking on request and an amazing host to look after you!
