The house is very pleasant with a 600m² garden, fully enclosed.

Summary: After years of roaming the French countryside in differnt parts of the county, we decided to visit Normandy for more than a few days in September. Looking for a fitting home for this endeavour (travelling with 3 dogs, Siberian Huskys nevertheless, has sometimes challenges) we virtually stumbled over this jewel. It is located in a suburb of Cabourg next to Deauville and Caen (25 min). Sited behind a large dune the sea (the Channel) is really close. Anyone familiar with the beaches of Normandy (not only from movies!) knows what this means: wide, long and inviting sand, perfect for running, strolling, horse-riding and... training sledgedogs! The house itself came with all possible creature-comforts: 2 TV sets, oven,mircowave (for those,who want to nuke their food), a large fridge,laundry, 2 bikes, shower and bathtub, separat WC. The sleeping room is set slightly above the living room and also equipped with a sleeping couch as well as a kingsize bed. Enough place to store someones stuff also. For those, who can't spend time without the internet: the house has a free WLAN access! The whole mainsion is decorated with style and love for details. Everything you may need is provided in kitchen gear and untensils. The well-sized garden is perfect for lounging in the sun and watching the dogs play. A bakery, just 100 metres down the road provides the visitor with a neverending stream of pasties, tarte, baguette and fantastic snacks. A 18 hole golf course is located nearby. The houseowners are great to talk to, friendly and try very hard to make you feel home. Thanks Sandrine and Nicolas for this wonderful time. I'm sure we will return very soon!!
