Positive: We absolutely loved our stay at Maison Mansel. It was the first night of our honeymoon, and Mathilde and Valentin made it incredibly special. They kindly upgraded us to the Royal Suite, which was a wonderful surprise. The room was beautiful, and the standout bath was such a luxury after a day of travelling. The swimming pool was spotless and the perfect place to relax. We also enjoyed a delicious homemade evening meal, with fresh salads from the garden, accompanied by a lovely bottle of white wine. Breakfast was equally fantastic, and eating in the greenhouse made for a really peaceful and memorable start to the day. Everything about our stay was warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully done. We would definitely return and would 100% recommend Maison Mansel to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable place to stay.
Negative: The only minor downside was that we found the bed quite firm and not enough pillows.

Positive: Gorgeous old Manor House, rooms decorated with such love and detail, best hosts we could ask for and so accommodating with our 2 year old. The home cooked food and BBQ were so great. Appreciated trying produce from the local area

Positive: Exceptional quality of property; lovely room, modern and stylish fittings, a beautiful house, wonderful hosts, a comfortable bed, great parking, fantastic breakfast. Overall an 11/10, a fantastic location to stop for a night between Ile de Re and Calais, but we really felt we did a disservice to ourselves and the wonderful property by not staying for at least two nights!
Negative: N/A, it was amazing.

Positive: The style and design were utterly gorgeous. Lots of small details that made it feel special - like the bespoke playlist which complimented the room theme! Breakfast was delicious and the hosts Mathilde & Valentin were warm and welcoming. The greenhouse is a super cool addition to the grounds too.
Summary: Chic, cosy & comfortable. Would recommend and look forward to visiting again.

Positive: Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Beautiful lounge where we had breakfast. Lovely garden which our little dog enjoyed.
Negative: There isnt much in the village so you have to go to Bernay for dinner which is very pretty but a 20min drive which some people may not want to do if they have been driving all day.
