Positive: Amazing stay. The owners are very very nice. We enjoyed an amazing breakfast on the terrace and had a dive into the pool later.

Positive: Fantastical historical building. Set admid amazing panoramic views and a few miles from the Castle of Guedelon which was the target of our visit. Unfortunately road was closed off and being dug up when we arrived. Bertrand came to meet us and showed us how to get closer to the property. Both he and Flore made us extremely welcome and did all that they could to make us welcome. Rang the local cafe to book us a table and next morning served us an excellent breakfast with delicious bread. Gave us a brief tour of the medieval parts of the house.

Negative: Curtains didn’t quite cover the windows in the bedroom but as it was a wet morning not much light came in but would have been a problem in bright sunshine.

Summary: Extremely welcoming hosts to a property brimming with history!
