Positive: We loved everything about the Maison du Chapelain! Beautiful, clean, and comfortable accommodation with plenty of kitchen/living space, fully equipped kitchen with everything you could need and a great toilet-to-guest ratio (3 toilets in total- 1 on each floor). The grounds of the chateau are absolutely stunning and the children loved exploring the huge gardens each morning and saying hello to the geese. The nearby town of Duclair is only a few minutes drive away and it has a large supermarket and various restaurants and bakeries to visit. The town also has a lovely little playground near the river for the little ones to enjoy. We visited with 3 children aged 4-6 and the accommodation/location was perfect for a family exploring the area. Nicolas and Dylan were friendly and very helpful and kept in touch with us before and during our stay to make sure everything was okay. We had a wonderful holiday and we were very sad to leave such a perfect place!

Summary: The most beautiful accommodation I have ever stayed in. We did not want to leave!

Positive: Wonderful place, the owner was really nice, polite and friendly. He really gives you good advices on where to go eating, what to visit and so on.

Negative: Internet connection was in some parts of the house really bad, but that's not up to the owner. It's just how it is there.

Positive: Plenty of space in the house, well furnished and well equipped kitchen. Wood burning stove was great in the evenings, plenty of wood available. Grounds are brilliant for walking the dog and sitting outside for lunch.

Negative: We could have done with more towels, soaps and toiletries.
