Positive: Great location, We contacted the owners on our arrival by leaving a message on a telephone number given. They met us within a half an hour. All communication was via email or leaving messages on the answerphone. The owners who were very very friendly came to show us around the accommodation,explain water and services which were simple, also key box use if going out.The access to clean towels in the property. Simona spoke English to us (not that it should be expected) she gave us some great local area advice regarding what to see locally and where to go. How easy it was to get into Rome via public transport if you wished to. Typically Italian streets and locality. Also of note is it felt safe and there was a very secure door gate, secondary to the door which you could lock if you chose to and the same with bug protection screen on the bathroom window. Very interesting historically if you like your history. The local places to eat are exceptional if you want to eat very good Italian food. Two bars very close by for snacks small pizza 2 euros, great value for money and more importantly good quality. However if you want some fantastic traditional pasta freshly made and cooked with excellent service and great value a "MUST' go to is the "Botega Del Grano" Restaurant 400 metres max from the accommodation. On the other hand we visited the "Enoteca Gadi" which was just 50 metres further where you could eat outside or inside and popular. The service was atrocious our only regret was that we stayed there and waited. The food itself was ok but not a patch on "Bodega Del Grano" needless to say we ate there twice. The cooking facilities in the accommodation are very good should you need them, great shower and easy to use (the curtain could be better to protect the bathroom floor.There is no parking however the public car park is 200m away and easy to use and cheap. Those that need Wi-Fi, it is excellent. Comfortable little home.

Negative: This is more of a "what could be better" NOT a "Didn't like" :-) Batteries in the TV remote control (if you watch TV) were flat / spent. Some cobwebs in and around the ceiling. Shower Curtain to protect the bathroom floor and where the water goes. It maybe unsettling for some not to be able to speak to the owner on the telephone rather than just leaving messages. Directions by foot to property could be better. Better information if you don't have smart phone to identify where local train station and bus station locations are. Nothing at all to make a big deal of and totally manageable.

Summary: Great location for what we wanted, it was a comfortable, safe base to explore from. "Un bel momento"

Positive: The location, the whole place was ours, our hostess came by to meet us and gave us some sightseeing pointers. She was very helpful and accommodated an early arrival. The pay parking was reasonable in price and nearby.

Negative: The shower was very small, even for Italy...and the hot water was limited. The bed was one side against the wall, with little space between the bed and wall on the other side.
