Summary: The day before ous stay we were informed that they had no room for us the first day. The alternative they offered was not an option in any way. The staff at the hotel was most friendly, but how this was managed is not nice on a planned vacation. Moscitos in and outside the room in the bottom of the building, a bit damp and not easy to sleep when the aircondition didnt work one night, but the outside garden was wonderful. Amazing breakfast, great poolarea. The charge of the minibar at the bill of 20 euro even if it was not used was seen when we had left, really not ok.

Summary: The best part is the gardens and pool area which is beautiful and well-cared for. It is good for a relax by the pool. It is good for families and couples. You must have a car. But this was not the right venue for us and I should have done more research. I found it was too far from town to access without a car, taxis are limited, and the venue only has a short food menu at set times or by advanced request. Staff also were hard to find at the pool bar when we did want something. We had to drive everywhere and couldn’t really enjoy the nightlife as much. If this is important than pick somewhere closer to town.

Summary: This is a very special place. Elegant, spacious rooms, tastefully designed and decorated. Deluxe bedroom was huge and very pleasant. Gorgeous pool area in the garden, very quiet and well maintained. Simple continental breakfast in large dining room. Staff helpful but unobtrusive. Only a short drive to the old town. We would be sure to stay here again next time.
