Positive: Lovely place, very clean and equipped with everything we needed. It’s close to everything of interest and to restaurants and grocery stores. Lotta was a great host. She met us, gave us a tour and made some suggestions about things to see and do.

Positive: Host was brilliant and very friendly and informative. I needed a doctor for my son during the day and she took time out of her day to help us. Great location. Easy to get to the metro or a 15 minute walk right into the centre. Lots of space in the house and a lovely little garden. Everything from towels to washing machine tablets available.

Positive: Like many, we spent hours checking the web for great places to stay in Rouen. My advice to anyone is to save yourself time and just book this lovely house! The house has everything you could wish for and amazing hosts who are so thoughtful in every way. It is a 2 bedroom house about 15 minutes walk from the centre of Rouen AND if you are driving, there is free car parking about 5 mins walk away. On entering the house through, you will see a folder containing all you could want to know about the house and the area. From directions to the car park I mentioned (note you can’t park there during the day on Thursday as there is a market there), to directions to the bakers 2 mins walk away (out the door turn left and left again), where there is also a butchers shop and a few mins further a supermarket. You really could not wish for more convenience! The house is laid out with one double bedroom downstairs and there is a bathroom (with shower/washing machine) on the same level along with the kitchen, lounge and dining area, with a patio door to a lovely patio. It is perfect! Upstairs, you will find another bedroom with ensuite bathroom. We were only one couple but the layout is great for two couples. All the other equipment in the house is so well thought out. On the far right in the kitchen is a double cupboard with all the crockery and glasses you could need. So…if you are going to Rouen, DEFINITELY, stay in this house. You will love it and the care that Lotta puts in the house and to guests is so evident. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Positive: A superb little home away from home. It was very comfortable and well decorated. Fantastic kitchen. One of the favourite apartments we had stayed in on our visit to Europe.
Negative: The mattress on the bed downstairs was a little hard for us.
