Positive: The house was amazing - we were a group of 6 and there was more space than we needed. The check-in was easy and the gondola to Les Deux Alps was easier than I expected. We rented ski equipment from Venosc Sports, close to where the gondola drops you in town, and they provided a locker for the duration of our stay, so we didn't have to bring anything back and forth. The kitchen has everything you need, so we stayed in for diners and played games by the fire. We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend to anyone going to Les Deux Alps.

Negative: I wouldn't say this was bad but the gondola stops running at 7:30pm and there isn't a lot of stores or restaurants in Venosc so we just needed to plan ahead and have groceries to make diner at home.

Positive: Within 24 hours of arriving we had rebooked for the following year! Maison Cluaran is a beautiful contemporary, 3 story house with charm, character and wonderful views. We travelled by car to the property, found free parking fairly close by. The kitchen had everything and more (we’d taken a Gusto box with us) also lovely little restaurant round the corner. Each bedroom had its own bathroom which was perfect for our teenagers, there was even a games console on the third floor with tonnes of skylanders a massive hit after the slopes, plus board games. Opposite is a very small shop that has a little area to drink in, we found everyone so friendly. This was more than a skiing holiday, the beautiful town of Venosc and the wonderful house made our skiing holiday a relaxing escape from reality!

Negative: Maybe with very little children the walk back from the Vénosc gondola could be difficult as it’s a steep hill, but not a problem for most people.
