Positive: Everything! Our stay at Maison 1823 was so much better than we could have dreamed of. We got very good recommendations for sights and places to eat. We only needed more time there! So we must come back!

Negative: Everything was really good. Note: remember to book tables well ahead for the local restaurants.

Positive: Lovely accommodation. Friendly welcome (including the cat!). Very convenient to airport. Easy on-street parking. The owner got a lovely breakfast ready for us.

Negative: There's not a lot in the area, but there are some shops. Only close restaurant was closed but there were a couple of pizza options. The one we tried had great pizza.

Positive: When you walk through the entrance gate, you enter an oasis of relaxation and recreation: a great pool surrounded by lots of comfortable seating and lovingly tended plants. With great attention to detail, the decoration, furnishings and facilities fit together perfectly. There is also plenty of space inside the house. We were surprised by the size of the rooms and thrilled by the harmonious and stylish design. In addition to a coffee machine with capsules, a kettle and various teas, a fridge with water and various crockery and cutlery are available in the room. There are air conditioning units in the bedrooms for hot summer days and nights. Breakfast is served in the garden, with matching vintage crockery, French chocolate rolls and baguettes, fresh fruit, juice, coffee or tea and even hot chocolate 😊 This wonderful accommodation is only topped by the fantastic and warm hospitality of the hostess. We felt very welcome, had a wonderful night's sleep and can only recommend this bed and breakfast to others.

Positive: Absolutely perfect - it had charm, character and was totally stunning. The decor is exquisite and the whole place is immaculate and very clean. Isobel is the perfect host - when she showed us to our suite we were blown away. It lacked nothing at all. We had an evening meal there which was served in the garden and it was the icing on the cake for us, delicious and well presented. Excellent value for money. Nothing was too much trouble for Isobel including airport runs to pick us up and drop off. Communication prior to us arriving was also brilliant. The only thing I would have changed would be to stay longer - it was so good. Probably the best place we have ever stayed. I recommend it a thousand per cent.
