Summary: In the main it was a good stay with clean and adequate facilities. It is dog friendly & relatively quiet though we could hear the alarm in the room nextdoor as if it were ours. There are several restaurants and parks within walking distance and you can rent a bike and access the wonderful trail system. Negatives: gambling machines in lobby, spotty hot water, terrible coffee, meh breakfast, unwelcoming check-in person.

Summary: The room was fine, although not worth what we paid, in my opinion, and some electrical sockets didn't seem to work. They sure didn't spend much of what we paid them on air conditioning for the hot common areas or for breakfast -- this place had the most modest (skimpy) breakfast buffet I have ever seen. For instance, one container of coffee -- no decaf -- and small cups, maybe so we wouldn't take too much? Some guy was wandering around the room talking loudly on his phone, and I found out he was their staff member in charge of breakfast when he started wandering to each table to tell us he was closing soon and we'd need to finish up soon. Speaking of staff, check-in was also the longest check-in I think I've ever had. Altogether not a terribly place or stay, but not very professional and definitely overpriced.

Summary: Drapery & shower curtain had holes. Very old, not a friendly or warm venue, disappointing stay. Will not return. This place really needs a renovation

Summary: It was a nice enough place, roomy and comfortable beds, clean and plenty of free parking in a safe area. For the price though breakfast was pretty weak.

Summary: The beds were comfortable but very high. I was here for one night only, but the room does have a full sized fridge and small functional kitchen. The breakfast was fine but not great - waffle machines, scrambled eggs, sausage, cereal, bread, fruit and yogurt. Check in and out was efficient. It's a short drive to Madison, but there's also a bus stop across the street from the hotel.

Summary: Staff friendly and helpful, breakfast is your stand at any hotel. Beds super comfortable!! Hot tub and pool was clean and stocked with towels.

Summary: One night stay with family. Huge room with full size fridge, two burner stove, full microwave and plates, cups, silverware, etc in our suite. Pool and fitness area but did not use. Clean room, small pillows for some reason. Breakfast was typical continental hotel fare. 15 minutes from downtown Madison.

Summary: Took a Trip to New Glarus and ended up staying here. Perfect location just outside of Madison. Good bar and grille and food spots close. Walkable businesses nearby.
