Positive: Very beautiful hotel on the Mopan River, quiet location with beautiful grounds. There were iguanas lounging on the grass next to the rushing rapids. Amazing !! The staff were attentive to your needs.

Negative: It is a bit far from the action of San Ignacio if that matters.

Summary: Very peaceful and beautiful stay.

Positive: I absolutely loved my stay here. The property is stunning—peaceful, lush, and perfectly situated right on the river. Everything was well kept and very clean, and the beds were wonderfully comfortable after long days of exploring. The staff were truly amazing: warm, attentive, and always willing to help. The only thing that would have made the experience even better is having screens on the windows. It would have been lovely to keep them open at night to enjoy the sound of the rushing river. Overall, an excellent stay and a place I would happily return to!

Negative: The property is run by Vacasa and they told me there was no way of leaving my bags if I checked in early so I had to book an extra day since I would be arriving at 11:00. That was not true so I wasted $100 USD.

Positive: Staff was so helpful and friendly! Food was delicious and generous. Prices were higher than expected, especially for alcohol but it aligns with everywhere in tourist areas of Belize.

Positive: This is a relaxing place to stay for a day or two. You can hang out down on the river itself or up at the deck with a nice view from above. The food from the hotel restaurant is surprisingly good and affordably priced. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Negative: Location is outside of town, so you'll need to take a taxi into town (10 minutes or so) if you want to go for dinner, shop, etc. I don't think Uber is available there either. Depending on your room, you may need to climb up a couple flights of stairs to get to it.

Positive: The staff and facilities were amazing. Each person was professional, helpful, and courteous. The location was close enough to San Ignacio for a quick taxi ride but far enough away to be very relaxing.

Negative: We weren’t that comfortable in our bed. Personal preference for sure but we found it too soft and giving.
