Positive: This was such a beautiful Airbnb and Hilde was a lovely host. We stayed for a weekend to attend a wedding at Villa Kalkoven which was close by. We also hired bikes off Hilde and rode to the neighbouring towns. The beds can also be pushed together with a foam inlay to make it a generous queen sized bed. We will be recommending Mahil-Laya to family and friends and intend to visit again in the future! There was an incredible selection of teas and a beautiful garden that Hilde encouraged us to use and enjoy our morning tea/coffee in. A few notes for anyone who might not be the right fit for this stay: If you're elderly or unsure on your feet, the staircase is steep which is common in the Netherlands. For young or able bodied it's fun and quaint with a hand rail to help on the way down. There is also no hot plate so it isn't a kitchenette, just a convection microwave which is perfect for a night or two. There is also no TV, so bring your own device to use with the Wifi or enjoy being TV-free and relax, another reason to spend more time outside exploring.
