Positive: The chalet and the view

Negative: The chalet was lovely and staff very good and friendly. Unfortunately, getting to the place is mist stressful. With a baby and children most unpleasant. We left a day earlier because just thinking of the road ahead. It spoilt our holiday. The potholes is totally unacceptable. Then the gravel road to the chalets is too terrible. I will definitely never be back. As a Google guide I have to be honest. the roads are too dangerous. Also no restaurants/ shop on the premises is ridiculous! Thank you

Positive: The lodge was modern, spacious, and well maintained. Underfloor heating was very comfortable in winter. It was remote and isolated - exactly the holiday we were looking for. We could walk around and saw a few animals.

Negative: It was not well sign posted. As a result, we got lost very close to the entrance. The stairs are big and uneven, and not recommend for people with bad knees. The activities require multiple people.

Summary: Nice getaway game lodge a short drive from Joburg, perfect for a relaxing holiday.

Positive: Janet, Shadrack, and all the cleaning staff were exceptional. Janet was amazing on watsapp with all the info and directions provided. Unit is extremely spacious and clean Lovely views Variety of books and board games available Great wifi, and the unit comes with Netflix...no dstv but the app is available . Staff meet you at the unit to check you in and help with unpacking your car. This was a lovely and personal touch....I hate the usual long check in procedures at some places.

Negative: Some suggestions Please consider adding a kids' play area like a jungle gym or trampolines. There isn't much for young kids to do outside. Would also be nice if you allowed self game drive on certain of the routes. Add an umbrella or some shelter on the balcony. It is too hot during the day to sit there. These are juat some suggestions...we had no complaints...thank you for the wonderful time.
