Positive: Beautiful location right in the forest, secluded, surrounded by trees and birds. Lovely high-quality furnishings, wonderfully built with many details. Enjoyed the outdoor shower and had a great time. Our dog was very happy too.

Negative: I’m not entirely sure, but I think there is no shower head for the indoor shower, which means you can really only shower outside. The broken window in the bathroom definitely needs to be replaced, and the sliding door as the entrance door is not ideal since mosquitoes get inside through the gaps next to and below the door.

Positive: Clean, and friendly. Aircon kept things warm. Nice bedding and milk in the fridge.

Negative: Close to the road, shower not as private as expected, can see cars and people walking past. No curtains / blinds for at night (one way during day, but not at night). Bird kept on trying to fly into the windows.

Positive: I did not actually spend the night. Beautiful little space, well designed with cute little details. I was wondering about the beautiful windows that are not covered and how one would sleep at night. Also, they are not blocked out, so you can still see in from the outside. It wasn't an issue as I left long before dark. It is not mentioned that the property is right on the road, so the time you spend in the "forest," you will be listening to the road noise. In addition, not sure if it was just my bad luck or a regular occurrence for a Saturday night, but around 16:00, someone started playing extremely loud music. That was the end for me, and I left the property. Most certainly did not meet my expectation of a little Eden!

Negative: Extremely noisy, the property has several tenants on it, and every time someone moves in, there are several dogs that end up barking. You can hear the cars from the road CONTINUOUSLY. People were screaming at each other, and being a lone female traveller, this made me very nervous. The last straw was the loud music that started in the late afternoon. Also, not sure if it was working, but there is a security camera on the stoep, which looks out on the outdoor shower ...

Summary: Did not experience a slice of Eden, unless Eden is a very loud place!

Positive: Beautiful haven in a forest; Super friendly and helpful check-in; I liked the coffee machine and that some pods were provided—comfortable bed and pillows.

Negative: The bathroom window was badly cracked, there is only a bath in the bathroom with a shower outside. Although the outside shower is beautiful, it's not very practical with most of the water spraying away from your body. The outside shower is also very close to the main road. I was also unable to locate any trash bin? Maybe that was just me. The stove was also rusted.
