Positive: Very warm and caring host and a nice friendly family. I felt very welcome to Mahi's Place! She was very helpful and kind, did everything to make my stay perfect, including arranging a very nice safari trip! Location is perfect for safaris in Minneriya National Park or Hurulu Eco Park and for a short trip to Polonnaruva's ancient places. If I'm back in Sri Lanka I will definitely come back and stay there again!!

Positive: Super friendly host, and very accomodating! She helped us out where she could. Arranged a great jeep safari for us. She cooked dinner and breakfast for us, which we ate in her house. She and her husband were very lovely! Definitely recommend if you want a local experience.
Negative: There is only a cold shower, but that wasn’t a problem for us.

The traditional breakfast was amazing, fresh, and delicious. I truly enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend Mahi’s Place to anyone looking for a cozy and friendly place to stay.

Positive: We spent one night at Mahi's Place near Kaudulla National Park and immediately felt at home. The accommodation is set in the midst of a beautiful landscape and rainforest – simply stunning. Our room was very cozy, and the hosts were incredibly friendly and warm. We had dinner there – it was absolutely delicious – and the breakfast, lovingly prepared in the traditional Sri Lankan style, was wonderful as well. Thank you for the amazing time and your attentive, heartfelt hospitality – we truly enjoyed every moment!

Positive: I would recommend this place to everyone! The host was so incredibly hospitable and sweet. She helped us with the elephant trip, cooked us an amazing dinner and breakfast and was just all around incredibly accommodating. She even let us stay a little while longer to freshen up and prepare for the next leg of our journey, after we came back from half a day in Anudharapura. You really see that she loves hosting and it shows in everything she does for her guests.
