Positive: Everything this is the second year staying at the lodge. We come into come into town to visit my family. Last year we were so lucky to stumbled across this amazing place. I’m all ready making plans for my siblings getaway.

Negative: This is my daughter second year staying there. I could not find anything that will stop me from coming back.

Summary: Clean,beautiful and safe place to stay.

Positive: Huge room. Dual sinks AND showers in bathroom. Had a walk in shower and tub/shower combo. Long closet that didn't share the door with the bathroom like some smaller ones do. Nice size fridge with separate freezer you could actually put leftovers in and a microwave to heat them up. Actual real beds with 6 pillows each. Even had an upholstered glider chair along with a desk and chair. The one bonus feature I really liked was the room door didn't have an auto closer on it. Once opened, you could actually get in or out with your luggage without something trying to crush you. The whole family walked out and then shut the door just like at home. The whole experience was like staying at a relative's house without the family drama. 15 mins from middle of Dothan and 15 mins from FL Stateline.

Negative: Leaving. Didn't want to.

Summary: Will be back next excuse I have to go to the Dothan area

Positive: beautiful surroundings, quiet

Negative: we stayed 2 times, the first was at the lodge, the second was one of the cabins. Both times we only had one hand towel for the 2 of us. The cabin had a kitchen sink but nothing to wash or dry dishes with, not even any paper towels. The lady helping with check in had a very negative personality and a bizarre affect

Summary: it was okay, but paying over $200-you would think they would have at least 2 hand towels

Positive: The overall facilities were beautiful and the Staff were mostly kind and helpful.

Negative: The communication and knowledge was lacking. It appears the ENTIRE staff was new and unfamiliar with the business of hospitality. Rooms were NOT properly cleaned, there was multiple layers of lint and debris under the beds. One of the tubs had NOT been clean as it had a dark ring around the tub. I had to go buy some cleaning supplies just to bath the kids. Though the entire place was very beautiful, the facilities; especially the Cabins, are in need of pest control. The cabins were not properly sealed to keep larger pest. We ultimately had to purchase bug spray to help combat the multiple Spiders and roached that were in the room nightly. If you're one that likes to actually sleep outside with the elements in nature, this place would be a luxurious alternative.
