It is located on the 1st Floor of a small apartment building near Schönbrunn Palace. You are surrounded by numerous gardens and yet public transport takes you to the vibrant city center in just 15 minutes.
If you are arriving by car, you can park it in the garage in the neighboring house for an extra charge during your stay.
The Schönbrunn Palace, the oldest surviving zoo in the world and the Technical Museum invite you to enjoy culture in just a few minutes. The parks offer ample opportunities for walking or running. At nearby Hietzinger Platz you will find numerous shops, boutiques and restaurants.
They live in a house that was built in 1872 and has only recently been renovated. The entrance area is already fascinating due to the hand-carved wooden ceilings that were made by the Stadlhofer carving company.
The old Viennese charm of the apartment on the 1st Floor has been lovingly preserved and adapted to the modern needs of its residents. The high rooms, the large double doors and the original herringbone parquet are reminiscent of times long past. Summary: If we could give more than 5 stars we would! This has been our 4th trip to Vienna our first staying here. It was the biggest and most comfortable yet. It is in a quite area yet easily accessible to transit, shopping and Schönbrunn Palace. Having a toddler visit us daily was easy as there was lots of room for him to play. The kitchen was a bonus as we prepared most meals at home. Above all the hosts Andrea and Franz were wonderful people that were always available to answer any questions we had. Undoubtedly, our best accommodation in Vienna. We hope we will be fortunate to stay here again.

Summary: The property was perfect for our trip and to be in Vienna during the holidays. It was exactly as pictured and provided a comfortable and cozy stay. The apartment is close to a grocery store, transit and a 15 min walk to the Schonbrunn Palace. Would stay here again and recommend it to anyone traveling to Vienna!

Summary: The apartment was perfectly located. Walking distance to Schloss Schonbrunn, the Heitzing U-Bahn station and tram stop and a supermarket. The apartment itself was very spacious for the three of us and was very well equipped particuarly the kitchen. We visited in December and so it was lovely to come home to a nice warm appartment each evening. Public transport is very easy in Vienna. We bought weekly tickets for €17.10 and used the U Bahn everyday to get into the city centre. It was sometimes busy, but never packed (like you get in London) and we never had to wait more than 6 minutes for a train. We loved Vienna and this apartment and would definitely come again

Summary: The home itself, in the family for generations, beckoned us home every evening. It was spacious, beautifully appointed, immaculate and very comfortable. We savored the glassed-in room with its sliding doors. Breakfast was precious overlooking the flower-filled yard with its swimming pool. Evenings we watched the sun set behind the trees in the neighboring properties. The apartment was filled with light. Access to public transportation to the city center or even out to the Vienna woods was plentiful and simple to use. We walked to the Schönbrunn Palace in 10 minutes. There are several neighborhood restaurants and easy access to the local grocery store. We enjoyed the Café Dommayer and its wonderful pastries nearby, but cafes abound in the city and you can take your pick. Andrea and Franz, our hosts, were on site and available if we needed anything and gave us as much privacy as we wanted. We stayed in their home for two weeks and could have easily stayed longer we felt so at home. There is so much to do in Vienna that the time just flew by. Anyone lucky enough to book this home will not be disappointed.

Summary: This was a fantastic place to stay in Vienna. The apartment itself was so spacious and clean and lovely - even nicer than in the photos. It’s ver6 well equipped and its in a great location - walk to Schönbrunn and easy train into town centre. Supermarket and good restaurant in close walking distance too. Andrea and Franz were perfect hosts. We’d absolutely recommend this place to anyone.
