Summary: David and Agnes met us at the property and showed us around their beautiful house. They also suggested places to visit whilst we were there. The house is spacious and can accommodate 8 people easily with its 3 double bedrooms and two bunk-beds, you could perhaps squeeze two more in the lounge area. The weather was unusually hot reaching over 40 degrees some days, so the air conditioning was bliss, making sleeping comfortable. We also made regular use of the Jacuzzi for a refreshing dip. The local village is small but very pretty, right on the river. There is a large supermarket just a couple of minutes away by car. We found a couple of bars and restaurants in Allasac, and Donzenac, and we also visited a couple of village evening parties which seem to take place regularly during the summer. If you are looking for a property that is comfortable (the king sized bed was wonderful) modern, and spacious, in an area of natural beauty, I can definitely recommend this one.
