Unique property a few kilometers from the Canal du Midi and the City of Carcassonne. The rented house is located in an 18th century property, on which is also located the house of guests absent during the summer period.
On one level, with an area of 100 m2 with two large bedrooms, living room of 40 m2 with GODIN stove, two bathrooms, one of which is private.
This house has been completely renovated with refinement and concern for comfort and the preservation of its authenticity.

Summary: We spent two very nice weeks in Philipes accommodation. The house in the annex of the main house (where Philippe lives), beautifully located at the edge of the pretty village of Pennautier. The overall location is great, 15 minutes by car from Carcassone, about 30 minutes to the Montagne Noir (beautiful hiking area) and to the sea you drive about 1 hour. A nice walk through the fields leads in about 40 minutes to the Canal du Midi. The house was very clean and well equipped, nothing was missing. WiFi is fast and on tv there are lots of international channels. We especially enjoyed the refreshing jumps into the pool after one of our many hikes. Overall a very good experience. Summary: Philippe's set up was great for our family of five and was just as good as the photos. He gave some great suggestions of places to visit and the check in and check out was seamless. Would definitely recommend and would stay there again if the opportunity arose.

Summary: A wonderful holiday home for 2 weeks, very clean and tidy. The pool and garden were lovely. The outside kitchen was brilliant. The location was very good 100 metre from the excellent chateau Pennautier restaurant and wine boutique. Lots of places to visit without having to drive for miles. Would recommend this property to anyone.
