Summary: Great staff. The hotel was very well done. The food for dinner was great! And the breakfast was good. Overall great experience. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful location, great hotel and great food!

Summary: Lovely place! Scenic. Clean. Well maintained. Our smallest accommodation AND most expensive on our entire Ring Road trip. Nothing negative to say--only for comparison sake.

Summary: I was disappointed with my stay at Magma Hotel, especially considering the premium price. We were allocated a room with an accessible bathroom even though we did not request one. The shower had no door or proper barrier, causing water to flood much of the bathroom floor after every shower. Light entered through the glass panel beside the entrance door, and the room could not be fully darkened in the summer. The water view is quite far away and the experience was not as expected. The hotel enforces a strict 4:00 PM check-in policy. Breakfast was mediocre, with a fairly limited selection.

Summary: Absolutely loved this property!!! If you have a chance to visit a real, authentic experience, this is such a treat in the middle of the county.

Summary: We totally recommend this hotel, it's really beautiful and unique, small beautiful cabins in the middle of nowhere that most of them have amazing views to the lake or the glacier. The staff was really friendly and helpful, cheers to Cosmin, he was really amazing with us during our stay. The only thing I would improve is the dinning room, not in decoration, but in space, we think it's small for all the cabins, during breakfast it was crowded, but besides that, an amazing option if you're visiting the south of Iceland.

Summary: Beautiful location. Cabin is spacious facing a lake. Very beautiful. Heated floor, friendly staff. The onsite dinner is outstanding! Great place to see northern light. Unfortunately we did not see one during our stay. The only complaint is hot water in the shower only lasted about 10 minutes then ice cold. The breakfast is limited and dull.
