Summary: The room was perfect, the bed was comfortable and the pillows nice and soft. The person who welcomed us was very courteous and carried our bags to our room and would not accept a tip, saying that was his pleasure to help us. Breakfast was just what we needed.

Summary: Staff and location are highlights of the stay. Have appropriate expectations helps. This is an old Los Angeles apartment complex that was turned into a hotel. As such it's older and dated which is also part of it's charm.
