Summary: Charming 1950s hotel just off Hollywood Boulevard. So it's very convenient and walkable to the main street. Warm and friendly staff and nice touches like complimentary snacks, soft serve, soft drinks, breakfast, laundry. And heated pool!

Summary: The front desk was the star of the show. All the little freebies and perks they have that are not typical of most hotels like free snacks and a "popsicle hotline" at the pool where you pick up the phone and ask for a popsicle and someone comes and hands you a one. The room prices are quite reasonable. It's a unique place to stay and will stay there next time we visit LA if there's availability.
