Positive: Reception was very helpful and accommodating, and all the more so as there had been an earlier mixup (not generated by reception). The room was well appointed, good amenities, with a very comfortable bed and excellent bathroom. There was, in addition a decent sitting room. Booking transport to the airport once at the hotel was highly efficient.

Negative: We had to wait for the courtesy van for about an hour and a half. One did briefly appear during the wait, but parked at an area not indicated (a long way before the inidicated "Consignas") and then rushed off when I tried to stop it. It would seem that as the van is small and stops at T4 and T2 prior to T1 there is no space for additional passengers.A couple of calls to the number listed on Booking clarified that the vans ran about every 45 minutes (in theory more frequent than this). The Hotel is not listed on the table of hotels with shuttles at the Airport. There are two Melia's listed but these are apparently other ones. Bizarrely there is a proper Melia minicoach for these (but it doesn't serve the one that is somewhat remote from the airport) The mapping on Booking seems to have been a tad wrong and shows it next to a main Melia at the airport. This new hotel is a decent distance from the airport so you need to factor this in to your timings and I would recommend pre-booking your return to the airport if that is where you are planning to go. Little in the way of local eateries. The presentation is currently very good however, I suspect some of the fittings and finish will not last that long or well

Positive: We did not eat any meals there as meals were not served at times we needed . Picked it for location near airport as we had to fly in in and out next day . Lots of space for the price as it had a separate living room . It also has a pleasant lobby area to hang out . They had an airport shuttle that picked us up and took us back to airport early in am .

Negative: There was construction in lobby that meant we couldn’t use lockers which we had counted on storing our luggage . It wasn’t in an area that was great for walking but I would use a bus to get to another area next time as it is on bus line - didn’t figure it out in time to use . I would recommend as good value ll place to stay near airport .

Positive: airport is close enough to the hotel, shuttle reached it about in 15 minutes. rooms are clean, near the hotel there bus route #88. goes to the metro line #5.

Negative: in my opinion price is a little bit higher than it has to be.

Summary: overall good hotel to stay if you need to be closer to airport for a reason.
