Positive: Two cozy guest rooms on separate floor of a family home directly inside of the winding alleys of old town. Despite the age of the house the rooms are kept orderly and clean and we spend two happy nights there. The hosts are very helpful and friendly. We had some genuin and interesting chats with any of the family members to get some helpful tips and insights about life in India and Jodhpur from them :) It’s a great location to walk everywhere (10 min to the top of the fort).

Negative: Old town can be loud at night sometimes.

Positive: Very clean, in a family home, fast internet. Roof top view of the fort. Room had mini balcony with fort but but no furniture. Make sure to leave the city via "blue city" exit to see a part of the fort most don't get to see and also check out that part of town! Only 15-20 mins walk back to starting point

Negative: Can be a bit noisy at night due street dogs barking

Summary: Ordered Zomato and ate of the roof with the view of the fort.

Positive: The property was easy to find and close to many shops and restaurants. It is a small walk to all the highlights in town and the fort. The owner and family were very friendly and welcoming to us. The shower was hot and had a lot of water pressure which was great for washing our hair! We even had a small balcony from where you could see the fort.

Negative: While the property advertises their rooms to be inclusive with soaps and toiletpaper they don’t have any. When requesting toiletpaper they pointed us to the shops to buy some, this was the first time since our 3 weeks in India.

Positive: Professional and courteous service. Warm welcome and homely environment. Spotless beds, blankets and bedsheets. Hot water in the shower and cleanliness. The owners made us comfortable in their cozy homestay. Once we were settled, they guided us in planning our city tour. That helped a lot as we were able to cover all important points in 2 days comfortably. I was pleasantly surprised with the professional upkeep of the beds. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The attached bathroom was clean and well maintained. Hot water was available throughout including the wash basin which was a blessing in the freezing winter. It truly felt like we were visiting our relatives and not some strange hotel. I would recommend Madhur Villa to everyone. Solo travelers, families, foreigners, etc. Kapil and his family will make your stay wonderful.

Negative: No issues whatsoever.
