Positive: not too far to slopes (maybe 500m up slight hill), comfortable room (tatami and futon). decent onsen (simple but effective), reasonable breakfast, effective (but a little bit rough) drying room, vending machines for beers, drinks and snacks. Good laundromat. Pretty views out to the valley

Negative: got a bad stink of kerosene? when it got windy - the staff told us the wind can blow back through flus and cause this. My tip - turn of your oil heater and ask for a plug in electric - the stink was pretty bad and one of my friends got headaches from it!

Summary: Decent budget option short walk from slopes.
