Summary: Very comfortable and clean home that is ideal for relaxing. We spent many hours just sitting on the front porch with family & friends delighting in the Old Maine charm of Mackeral Cove. Warren & Cindy are excellent hosts whose attention to detail made us feel very much at home.

Summary: Bailey’s Island is tiny but packed full of the most beautiful scenery in the country. Mountains, lakes, museums, lobster, parks, you name it. And the people were just so considerate it made for one of our best days, and we have traveled all over the world. The host and hostess spend as much time as we need it and had great suggestions for sightseeing and restaurants. And for what it’s worth the Portland airport is such an easy in and out we were pleasantly surprised. Needless to say the weather cooperated which always underscores a perfect getaway.

Summary: We visit Bailey Island regularly, and this was hands down the best experience we’ve had with a rental. We’re already planning our return next summer! Warren and Cindy were great hosts. They have a beautiful new home with everything we needed, plus the views of Mackerel Cove were perfect. They were so nice to provide recommendations and a basket of local coffee, muffins, and jam. The home was spotless and the layout was perfect for a family. It was peaceful at the end of the season, and we enjoyed walking the island everyday. A little piece of heaven! Thanks for a lovely week!
