Negative: The cabins could use a bit of modernisation for the price you pay It had kids activity rooms but they were always locked .

Positive: Lovely setting and picturesque walks the other facilities on site pool gym etc very good. Staff also very helpful and friendly.

Negative: We felt the accommodation was a little outdated also the beds not very comfortable.

Positive: Park is a lovely location, amongst mature woodland. Carrbridge is a short walk away, Aviemore nearby. On site there are a couple of children's play areas, a short walk and boardwalk around the lochan. There is a small but nice and warm swimming pool with a steam room; pool was very clean. The bar/restaurant is pub grub and very welcoming. Staff were all pleasant and welcoming

Negative: Overall, the site is in need of some TLC. All the fences, play structures need repainting/renovating. Within our lodge the facilities were adequate, but again decoration was looking tired. Mattresses were adequate, just, but lumpy and tired. Sofa bed was definitely uncomfortable. Advertised 'spa' is at the MacDonald Aviemore site and costs additional £20/£15 per day per adult/child

Negative: The shower was so disgusting, not enough water for a quick shower. There wasn't any tea, coffee, milk but just empty steel boxes in the kitchen cabinet.

Summary: A lot of improvements needed.

Positive: The resort itself was fine close proximity to Aviemore and Landmark which was a great day out. Staff were pleasant.

Negative: The Lodge was a bit run down and in need of a lick of paint as some of walls badly marked and woodwork grubby Carpet badly stained in places and exterior also needs freshening up other than that was okay. The check in at 5pm seems a bit late the checkout time 10 am to early especially when found out restaurant was closed on Monday our checkout day as had planned on having a coffee there before heading home Reception told me closed Monday and Tuesday.
