Positive: We already know the area very well - family in the area and have been coming north for many years with our own family. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and so clean!!! We would definitely consider a return visit on our next trip to the area.

Positive: The location was ideal for all the activities we wanted to experience. The accommodation was comfortable and provided good kitchen facilities for all our needs. There was enough space on the ground floor to spread out and relax with the hexagonal room at the end of the building something special. The situation of the cottage with views across the local scenery made it a joy to sit outside and take it all in.(I did a canvas picture of the cottage, see below).

Negative: Stairs to the upstairs bedrooms were steeper than we normally have at home. Having the two bathrooms downstairs at night was tricky.

Summary: Wonderful experience and catered for all our needs.

Positive: The cottage was a perfect place for a long weekend with friends. We had such a wonderful time and would definitely book again. It’s a great location to access loads of great activities. We went to landmark and then spent the rest of the weekend going on some beautiful hikes Multiples fires/log burners to spend time together and relax in the lounges. We spent our time playing games by the log burner. The cottage has everything you could need to have a great stay. The kitchen was very well stocked. We’ve stayed in a lot of similar properties and this has everything you could want to cook together. It’s

Negative: If the cottage is cold takes a bit of time to warm up however the fires and electric blankets are a great solution so definitely not an issue.

Positive: Great location just outside village. Easy walk to pub and landmark House really comfortable and great log burners. Comms from owners was first class Would love to stay again

Negative: Everything was great. There were quite a lot of us round the table in the kitchen for Christmas lunch so was a bit tight for 8 but in no way diminished the mood

Positive: Hosts have thought of everything you could possibly ever need for a short stay. Perfect location only a few minutes from Landmark where we took our grandchildren. Weather was atrocious with flooding at the time of our visit however, we were kept warm and cosy due to the plentiful supply of both wood and coal for the open fire and 2 logburners in the property. Beds were extremely comfortable and warm with electric under blankets if needed. We had a slight issue with the dishwasher, which we managed to resolve after a quick call to the owners. Good quality appliances throughout the property. Only 1 minor niggle and I am being very picky here! The taps on the kitchen sink could do with being taller so you don't have to empty the basin to allow the kettle to be filled. Beautiful, well priced cottage and with plenty of room for 8 guests without feeling on top of each other. Highly recommended.

Positive: All rooms were spotlessly clean, amenities, rooms and facilities were excellent. The hosts were easily on hand with advice. The situation of the cottage was perfect with a lovely view of the farm below and the surrounding countryside. The back of the cottage was a real sun trap to sit and relax. The local pub ( with real ales and a 9/10 Guinness) is 5-10 minute walk where you were made very welcome. There are plenty paths to run and walk from the cottage and wild swimming if that's your thing. You've got beautiful lakes ( eg. Loch Morlich) and the Cairngorms about 30 minute drive. Loved the cottage and the family holiday. What more can I say - don't want to say to much or it will be booked up for the next time we want to book the property.
