Positive: The only “hotel” in Dien Bien Phụ, no other option! “Monopoly business”…

Negative: Staffs behaviour! We reached early in the morning at around 6.30am, at that time there are many guests checking out, we were so tired after a long journey bus taken, so we would like to request check in earlier and willing to pay more. Initially the first receptionist who serving us told us our room is ready and should be no problem, but don’t know why after an eye contact with the other receptionist beside her, then situation changed! The other receptionist told us no room available for early check in but there is one room left and we need to top up another around VND1,600,000, total VND2,800,000+ for the room! After a quick argument with the receptionist , we insisted to keep the remaining room we booked and asked the team to inform housekeeping to clean the room immediately for us to check in early with additional charge of VND700,000 instead of VND1,600,000. After around 15mins, the room was ready and when we entered the room, we felt that the room is not just cleaned few minutes ago, the toilet was very dry and the room has no chemicals cleaning smell at all! Breakfast buffet is not good! 8am stop replenishing, drinks served were tasteless, too little foods selection!

Summary: Customer has no other option! Force to accept the deal!

Negative: Pool looked lovely from a distance but wasn’t the cleanest close up The taxi men in car park were using it to wash their cars with cloths No sun beds around which was a bit odd only hard concrete bench seats Evening meal was the worst so far!

Negative: It wasn't comfortable. The room was noisy as there seem to be a water pump on top floor running all day & night. Breakfast is limited for vegetarian. Wifi is like in 1990s
