Positive: Everything was perfect. The location was ideal, close to metro stop. In a very quiet area near supermarkets. The apartment itself was exactly as it was shown in the pictures, comfortable, luxurious,modern and very clean. But what makes this place special its the owner Ugo, he is so helpful, friendly and attentive. We wouldn't have been able to enjoy if he hadn't assisted us with the right information. He was on hold for more than ten minutes trying to help us call a taxi for our New Year's Eve dinner. He even arranged and booked us a restaurant for our dinner, he also provided us with all the metro lines and places. Thank you so much for the great stay we had. Regards mavra

Positive: The appartment was very clean and comfortable. Highly automated and sufficiently equipped. There was a coffee machine for espresso and a kettle as well as coffee pods and tea bags. Big refrigerator and dishwasher. Nice fabrics and very comfortable bed. The bedding was clean and fresh as were the towels and bathrobes. Large window doors to a small balcony on Via Valtelina equipped with a small table and two chairs. The heating system seemed to work well as the appartment was always warm. The location was very good as it was almost opposite a metro station, line 3, three stations from Duomo. Safe neighbourhood, with excellent places for lunch and dinner in a walking distance (Vulcania, Langolo di Napoly). I would definitely recommend Meihome to other people especially if they want to attend a concert in Alcatraz Club, which is just 5' minutes walk.

Negative: The shower unit was in the bedroom seperated from the rest room, which we found rather inconvenient. Probably that has been chosen due to space arrangements. I would have appreciated it if there had been body size towels apart from the bathrobes which were rather small for my size. I would also like to find more goods for breakfast in the flat like rusks, concentrated milk and instant coffee. I am aware of the fact that the price does not include breakfast but when almost 800 euros are paid for 4 nights you should be welcome with the neccessary, at least, for the first breakfast. Finally, I would like to make a comment about the hosts. Micol, who seemed to be the owner, was easily accessible via email and on the telephone up to the point I deposited the money. From then on we spoke on the phone only with her father who was a very polite person. I firmly beleive that when people travel from far away and honour you by choosing your place to stay, the least you can do, if not try to meet them and say hello (in Greek we say "Kalos orisate" which means we are very happy that we are all well to be together) is to make them a call and thank them. This is a personal, culturally related belief however, and in no way does it diminish the value of the accomodation.

Positive: Mei Home was the perfect home away from home and far exceeded mine and my partner's expectations. The apartment has been brilliantly designed and detailed, with modern features including electric blackout blinds, colour changing light fetaure in the shower, and lights that come on when opening each cupboard or wardrobe - there is also an automated night light by the bed side in case you need to venture around the room at night. The apartment also has an iron, umbrella, toiletries available and the hosts provide you with robes, towels and slippers. There is cooking essentials and seasonings in the kitchen cupboards, snacks and coffee, and we were pleasantly surprised to see there were even drinks available in the fridge for our disposal. Everything was accounted for! Mei Home is a great location too, its a two minute walk to the nearest station Maciachini which is 5mins from Milan Central and 10mins from Duomo. There is an Aldi and Lidl 5-10min walk away, and other easily accessible fast foods and restaurants nearby. Last but not least, the hosts are easily contactable, helpful with answering queries and very lovely too!! They noticed that it was my birthday during our stay there and gifted me a celebratory bottle of champagne, which we thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated the kind gesture. Thanks again Micol and Ugo!!

Negative: If we could pick on something, it would be that the hot water would go cold after about 20mins and we would have to take a quicker shower than we were used to, which might not be a problem for everyone. The shower facilities are otherwise nice with a rain shower feature too.

Summary: 1000% recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a getaway in Milan! You won't regret it!! :)

Positive: A very special, premium, luxurious apartment. Could never find a better stay than Mei Home ! This apartment is equipped with everything you can ask for, the owners have thought about every detail and the pictures shown are exactly as it is (even better). Amenities for bathroom, kitchen and rooms are all provided. To top it off, we have asked for a baby cot and it wasnt available at the time we asked for, Later on, they have decided to provide us with it as a kind of hospitality in addition to a small gift for our baby. The location of the apartment is 10/10. Just 3 min from a metro station (direct line to most touristic sights). The check in was very easy and straight forward (detailed instructions). The apartment is furnished in a modern automated way, and the appliances are all new. Also, it has a nice balcony with a table and chair outside. The hosts are very generous too, they have provided drinks, water and some snacks in the kitchen. To sum it up, its outstanding and deserves more than 10/10.
