Positive: We had a really lovely stay at the property. The house was spacious and comfortable – perfect for our family. The kids were happy, and we all felt very much at home. The location was great, especially being so close to Alton Towers, which made our trip even more enjoyable. Communication with the host/company was excellent throughout – clear, friendly, and helpful. Thank you for a great experience!

Positive: We loved how clean it was, cosy and warm and well equipped with appliances. The fabulous handyman who put an end to our horrific first night!

Negative: When we arrived there was a sound of rushing water which we discovered was the toilet in the main bathroom filling constantly. We messaged the company and they quickly responded and organised for the handyman to come early the following morning. Unfortunately just as we were going to bed the upstairs smoke alarm began to emit a piercing noise approximately every 30 seconds. We tried removing the battery but as it was also wired up to the mains this made no difference. I messaged the company again who informed the handyman to sort this as well the following morning. However due to the loud shrieking noise every 30 seconds throughout the night none of us were able to sleep at all and were exhausted. The next morning Melv sorted out both issues in 90 mins and the house was peaceful. All the smoke alarm needed was a battery so hopefully in future a spare battery will be kept at the house to avoid any other guests having the same experience.

Summary: A stay of two halves! One awful night and one fabulous night!

Positive: Great location for Alton towers a lots of nearby amenities. Lots of bedrooms and bathrooms which makes it ideal for a family to stay. Professional staff who are very helpful to make sure everything is ok for your visit. Off-road parking for two cars for a stress free enjoyable stay

Negative: There was a small issue with one of the bedrooms but this was dealt with very professionally by the team

Positive: The house was lovely, as depicted in the photos. Situated in a quiet estate with really friendly neighbours. Nice wee enclosed back yard with table and chairs to sit out and enjoy the evening sun. House has all the amenities that we required to cope with a family of 5. Toaster, kettle microwave, cooker and washing machine included along with all cutlery cups etc. House is close to town centre with loads of places eat. If we were going back I would definitely try to book this property again.

Positive: Very comfortable and modern property. Easy check in and checkout. Nice bath towels and comfy beds. Close enough to walk to M&S!

Negative: Could have done with a few more bits in the kitchen and living room could have used a coffee table! We also had to go and buy more toilet roll for a 2 night stay (just something to bear in mind!)

Positive: Bedrooms clean and comfy. Location good. Quiet area.

Negative: Kitchen was not clean. Bin dirty and smelt. Dishwasher full of dirty pots. Floor dirty . A housekeeper did come and sort issues but not good enough. This was a birthday treat. Garden needs a jetwash and makeover.
