Positive: Very difficult to say just one thing we liked. From the moment we arrived we could see how charming it is. From the reception area, the big comfy/cosy lounge area, the decor, the restaurant area, the rooms were so charming/cosy, rustic chic. We were made to feel comfortable from the moment we arrived to the time we left. The grounds are lovely to go for walks, with trails alongside the property as well. The heated pool was very nice. The attention to detail at Luz Housed really stood out to us. Can't wait to find some time and go back.

Negative: The only thing we didn't appreciate as much was the menu and food for dinner. Menus don't have to be large but, considering how everything else was so thought out with typical portuguese rustic charm, the menu needs a little bit of that, in our opinion. The breakfast was lovely. It was more the dining experience which for us lacked, although the food presentation was lovely as well as the service.

Summary: We totally enjoyed our stay.It was cosy, rustic country portuguese charm. Staff was awesome!

Positive: What a beautiful hotel! The design is dreamy, and you can feel that every little detail was carefully thought of. We loved the design of both the room and the shared spaces, and the pool is absolutely stunning. The food at every meal was delicious (we especially loved the breakfast – wow!!!). And the staff – simply wonderful. They constantly went above and beyond to help with everything, always with a smile and so much patience for our kids. We will definitely come back. A truly magical place.
