Positive: It was a wonderful experience! "Casa dos Tios", an enchanting, authentic house, is located in a very nice and welcoming place with its own historical dignity — the old village where the three pastorinhos were born. Nowadays, it is a super comfortable, quiet district where you can not only rest but also enjoy nature and the friendliness of the local people. The place is so safe and quiet that we walked from the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fátima a couple of times at night without any anxiety. (Sure, there is an option to take the tourist train during the day or a taxi anytime (they are very affordable there), but we enjoyed the atmosphere). It's impossible not to mention the hospitality of our hosts. It didn't feel like staying in a rented apartment, but rather like meeting family. They are wonderful people, so warm-hearted and sincere; they met us as if we were part of their family. The breakfasts were legendary, our hosts helped us get to the bus station, and every moment spent there was an additional, special pleasure. I can't say a single negative thing about our room — it was perfectly clean (like everything in the house), cozy, and spacious. I'd definitely like to come back to Fátima and to "Casa dos Tios".

Positive: The stay was absolutely phenomenal, from the host’s warm hospitality, to the beautiful rooms of the home, the ambience of the surrounding area, and proximity to the homes of the three children and apparition sites. And I can’t forget to mention the delicious, fresh breakfast spread! This is truly a one of a kind stay that elevated not only our time in Fatima, but the entire trip as a whole. Unlike most other stays, I don’t have a single negative point to mention, no maintenance issues, no issues with accessing the home, in fact they even allowed us to check-in early! It was truly as perfect as a stay can be. An 11/10! I don’t want to over-exaggerate, but I have stayed at dozens of AirBnB’s, hotels, and accommodations around the world, and this has to be the best overall experience I have had at a booking. If you are looking to stay in the area, I would 100% recommend them!

Positive: Everything. Absolutely everything. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, everything was absolutely perfect. We were warmly welcomed by the hosts, Otília and her husband, who provided all the instructions and made us feel completely at home. We stayed in the room with two separate beds - one window overlooks the house of Lúcia, and the other faces a beautiful Hungarian Calvary. The room itself is wonderful, as is the bathroom. Every detail is so well prepared - the amenities, the comfort - it truly feels like staying in a hotel, but even more than that, it feels like being at your grandmother’s house, full of warmth and care. The backyard borders Lúcia’s own garden. As I write this review, I can still see it from where I’m sitting outside. The breakfast was sensational, the shower amazing, and the room perfectly warm and cozy, especially during the colder season. The hosts’ attention to detail - from dietary restrictions to preparing local specialties - made us feel deeply cared for. We were even welcomed with two delicious pastéis de nata! Everything about this stay was wonderful. If you’re visiting Fátima to pray, to feel close to God, and to enjoy incredible comfort, this is truly the place to stay.

Positive: This was by far my most favorite stay in Portugal. The bed was comfy, the shower excellent, but the hosts were out of this world. They were so gracious and friendly, and they went above and beyond to make us delicious vegan breakfast. It felt like we were staying with family.

Positive: The breakfast was phenomenal! We stayed in high end hotels in Spain and Porto, Portugal that had hugh buffet breakfasts—the breakfast we had for the 3 days were better—greater variety and better quality.

Positive: The location of the house was within walking distance of all Fatima major attractions and within easy driving distance to Tomar, Nazare and other attractions. The breakfast was exceptional with local produce, pastries and eggs to order. Our hosts were very welcoming and were available to answer any questions. It was very enjoyable to talk with them both and hear the many stories of Portuguese life. Thank you for a wonderful stay 😁
