Summary: This is a place with a beautiful view, great and spacious rooms in the historical villa we liked a lot. Everything that one needs is nearby and easily accessible, ideal by foot or by car. Restaurant is only 200 meters away from the Villa and they even can bring you orders direct to the villa. The staff was also great and provided us with everything that we need. The villa itself and the surrounding was pleasant and well kept. The time we have spent there is what I call a great holiday. Stuff , great location and view on the sea and Capri made our vacation magnificent.

Summary: Eight long time friends enjoyed a wonderful week in Massa Lubrense. We were relocated to another villa since Capriana was undergoing renovations during our vacation. This new villa was authentic Italy complete with an olive grove and lemon trees. The view was breathtaking. Our host, Carmela, was divine. The property management company (Sam) was extremely helpful. I highly recommend this vacation on the Amalfi Coast.

Summary: Villa is wonderful and it has been built in traditional Italian style, something not that is seen every day. Beautiful garden where you can relax, have meals or just a glass of nice domestic wine. Great staff that was constantly at our service. They have fulfilled all our wishes. Sitting in the gardens and breading the air of nearby trees and the view on the see is just gorges.

Summary: Villa it self with beautiful terraces and the pool has made our holiday wonderful. I also want to mention great staff that has made us very welcome. I will remember our great and pleasant dinners at the villas terraces with the beautiful view on the see and Capri and Sorrento coast. Although villa is private it is also very close to everything that we needed. Shops, restaurants... Everything.

Summary: We arrived from France later than it was planed, Carla waited on us late in the night, have a welcome drink , basket with initial food and even it was not ordered by us, they made a dinner that night. The food the chef made is incredible, we enjoyed. Thank you for that extra. We had a dream vacation in your villa, both the location and the villa itself is wonderful. Stuff was very helpfull and friendly. Garden is so nice with a lot of trees , green and many places that you can sit and enjoy, well kept , big and the view on the Capri Island and Sorrento bay is magnificient. By the returning to our home in France in the evening, we made it strange to say that we would not find each other again in the morning. Once again, thank you all for the warm welcome. Thanks Giovanna for her qualities of hostess, thanks to Laura for her exquisite cuisine, and thank you to all the others for the comfort they gave us. My parents joining in greetings with me and show our love and our thanks We will come back in when we made decission to have our new vacation at the Amalfi coast. C.Lambert

Summary: Our group had a fabulous time. Great views, private yet accessible; restaurants, groceries, harbor nearby either by walking or car. The staff was attentive, flexible, and available yet unobtrusive. They were very helpful in arranging special outings as well as our chef-prepared dinner, which by the way, was exquisite. The grounds were well-kept and secure. The villa was charming, well-maintained and everything the pictures lead one to expect. Our nine days there were the highlight of our 3 weeks in Italy.

Summary: We had an absolutely blast at Villa Murat. Carla and the villa staff made us feel very welcome and well looked after. The villa is beautiful, as are the sprawling gardens, terraces and pool. We had the 'welcome dinner' on the front terrace which was a highlight. It's just outside of Massa Lubrense which is perfect as it's quieter but easy enough to get into the town, as well as into Positano/Sorrento etc. Would highly recommend Villa Murat!

Summary: First of all: the views from the grounds are amazing, the staff Mariolina and Carla are wonderfull. Nothing is too much, the work they do is amazing. Garden is well maintained, house from the outside too. But in the house: the amenities (beds, closets, sofas, kitchen, bathrooms) are really out of date. Sofas where you fall through when you sit in them, television not working, bed in the main room is horrible (did not sleep well for 2 weeks), kitchen is from another century (not usable), bathrooms almost no water coming through… The staff is doing what they can to maintain the house well, but it needs to be renovated. There is no airco, we knew that, but if you keep the windows open at night there are people gathering in front of the house to drink, make music, and to party all evening and night. So it got really hot in the house. This in combination with the horrible beds is no fun. I think the place is suited to do events and parties, but not for a family to have a 2 weeks holiday.Cooking is impossible and the furniture is so tired there's no comfort at all.

Summary: Firstly, it is reknowned locally as Villa Murat. Spacious is only a minor description of both the villa and grounds. The staff treated us as royally. We had a view of the Isle of Capri just to the west of us. Wonderful restaurants but breakfast each day was sumptuously provided by staff. We also had our own kitchen. The swimming pool was great for cooling off and relaxation. I recommend this villa highly.
