The villa “Estrella Fugaz” combines luxurious modern comfort with the raw natural beauty of Lanzarote in art and design, aiming to bring the colours and elements of the island‘s unique landscape right to your holiday home. It sits on a gentle incline in the Playa Pocillos area of Puerto del Carmen. The house, being the center of a spacious private plot, is surrounded by lush patches of garden on three sides and a large heated private pool.
The front door of the villa opens onto the living area, with L-shaped settee and large dining table. There is a large flat-screen TV with a full range of European channels (esp. English, German, Spanish, French, Dutch, Scandinavian) including Sky sports and movies, and a video club with all the latest movies and lots of series, plus all modern smartTV functions. Additionally, there is a quality air-conditioning & heating system, for your comfort. The open-plan kitchen comes equipped with easy-to-use induction hob/oven, microwave, fridge-freezer and other appliances.
The house offers 2 themed bedrooms, both equipped with quality air-conditioning & heating systems: The front “Water Bedroom” (Cuarto Agua) has a king size bed, a desk and a small Smart TV, plus built-in safe in the wardrobe. The rear “Earth Bedroom” (Cuarto Tierra) has 2 single beds, which can be used as king-sized-double. It also features an en-suite, earth-themed bathroom with a spacious walk-in shower, with door and skylight (also fit for airing). The main bathroom is water-themed with different hues of blue, featuring a walk-in shower and bidet.
Weekly linen & towel change is included; mid-stay cleaning can be arranged on request. For your own laundry, there is a separate shed with washing machine, ironing equipment and cleaning utensils. We also put free fiber-optic WiFi, a portable stereo and pool towels at your disposal.
In its private outdoor area, the property offers 2 terraces: A spacious, partly covered front terrace (“Summer Terrace”) facing south-east, complete with table, deck chairs and sunshade. A wind-sheltered rear “Winter Terrace” partly enclosed by lava stone walls storing the warmth of the sun.
The front terrace stretches along the side of the swimming pool, providing ample space for the sunbeds. The generous salt-water pool takes inspiration from nature, featuring the colour scheme of a vulcanic rock/sand stone lagoon. With water levels ranging from 1.00m to 1.90m, it is well suited for swimming as well as gymnastics or simply splashing about. A combined solar + electric pool heating system keeps water temperatures in comfortable swimming range (26-29 degrees) for most of the year.
Walking out of the garden gate, you can reach the seafront by a 5 min. walk on two
alternative routes: You may either turn left and walk down Calle Grecia, which leads towards Playa Pocillos — arguably the most attractive beach of the island — stretching through Matagorda and Honda to the capital Arrecife. Or you may walk down Avenida Italia which leads to the promenade with plenty of restaurants, bars and shops. If you keep walking straight down to the sea, there is a sheltered beach bay perfect for winter sun/sea bathing.

Summary: This is the second time we have stayed at this villa, the first time was amazing and this time was even better! The improvements the owners have made to the inside of the villa and the new pool are truly stunning. The villa is very well equipped with everything you need for a very comfortable stay. The beds are very comfortable as is the seating areas. The outside of the villa is quite simply “WOW”! The new pool is spectacular, every time I got in there it reminded me of being at a spa! The location of the villa is perfect, a short stroll to the beach and main strip with an abundance of bars, restaurants and shops. Thank you to “The Brill Girls” for yet another amazing holiday! x

Summary: On arriving at this lovely villa we were greeted by the lovely Petra who made the booking in process so smooth. She was always at the end of the phone if needed, we did at one point and she was with us within10 minutes. Then there's Steve who came to clean the pool, such a lovely man and always took time to chat and was also with us within 10 minutes because the pool was cold, we had a Lanzarote power cut!! The solar panels to heat the pool needed switched on. The villa itself is in an ideal location, approx 10 minute walk to the seafront, Spar is right on the corner too for convenience. Lovely restaurants and bars within 10 min walk. We couldn't have wished for a better villa to stay in for our two week holiday. Lovely decor inside and loads of space outside for alfresco dining, washing machine outside in laundry room, cushioned sunbeds and most importantly, the tiles around the pool didn't burn your feet in the Lanzarote sunshine, they were cool enough to walk on. For anyone wanting to work remotely, the internet connect was excellent and the dining table worked perfectly for us, although there is a small desk in the master bedroom for working and had all the necessary stationery needed. I can't rate the villa highly enough, it was perfect for us. The hosts, the Brill family are lovely to deal with, answering any questions by email, even phone, so promptly. A lovely relaxing (although semi working) holiday was had by us in this lovely villa and we can't wait to return.

Summary: Great villa in a great location. The pool is one of the best we have ever had in a villa. It’s a little tired but we noticed new tiles have been delivered in readiness for its revamp to suit the villa. Petra (the manager) was on hand to solve a minor problem asap. Very friendly and quick to respond. We met her on our first day when she showed us around. The villa is well appointed and the air conditioning is brilliant. All the rooms are modern and everything is good quality. Comfortable beds and bedding. Everything you could possibly need in a kitchen. Particularly nice settee (we’ve had some shockers over the years). A couple of minor points - no mirrors in the bedrooms and no ironing board. Petra did offer to bring an ironing board to us but we didn’t need her to go to any trouble for us) There is plenty of room to accommodate these two things. But they were minor and did not detract from our enjoyment. Thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and hope to return. Thank you.

Summary: The villa has been refurbished to a very high standard and has everything you want for an enjoyable holiday. The patio area has also been refurbished and is a good size. You can enjoy the sunshine from dawn to dusk on this patio and there's also a shade area if you require it. The pool is salt water, so no harsh chemicals. The villa is not overlooked and feels quite private. The villa is situated just a 350 metre walk to the bars, restaurants, shops, supermarkets and the beaches.

Summary: We stayed at this beautiful villa for one week. Excellent location and villa perfect. Very large pool and lovely outside area. Large comfortable bed and everything you could need for your stay. Will definitely be looking to stay here again.

Summary: We were the first guests after the refurbishment. Looks excellent, new en-suite a great addition means that both bedrooms now have own high quality bathroom. Kitchen updated with modern units and appliances with large dining table. Great location close to restaurants, shops and the beach and very private. Private Pool is a very good size much more than just a plunge pool and great to swim up and down. Patio has plenty of space for sun beds and has been retiled to a high standard and has a covered area to dine outside. Modern Smart TV’s in lounge and master bedroom with facility to get all U.K., European and International Channels. Wifi is excellent high speed connection. New custom created artwork outside looks great and with more artwork to go inside makes this a very personalised Villa with unique touches that make it a more special place to be. The owners clearly look after this as a treasured getaway for themselves to enjoy and clearly love Lanzarote as we do. Look forward to going back another time.

Summary: Welcome pack on arrival which was a lovely and very welcome surprise - thank you so much! Superb location, everything from the supermarket, beaches, bars, cafes and restaurants all just a short stroll away (5 minutes). The villa itself was pristine, plenty of cooking utensils, crockery glasses etc / very well laid out. Comfy sofa and tv with English channels. The beds were extremely comfortable, plenty of wardrobe space. Super, super large pool and fantastically comfy loungers. Ample outside space, very private and quiet. Communication with the owners was fantastic, from booking the villa to sadly having to leave. Thank you “The 3 Brill women” your property is THE BEST we have stayed in xx
