Set above a couple of other villas, with access via a secure lift, the accommodation is very private and peaceful. Couldn't have asked for more on our stay and the owners were wonderful and friendly. Absolutely gutted that we had to leave

Positive: Exceptional private villa in a perfect location. 20 mins drive from the airport, in a quieter part of the Maspolomas area. The villa is perched high up on a hill overlooking San Augustin and with a great view of the sea beyond. Bars, restaurants and shops are a 5 minute drive, or a pleasant 10 - 20 minute walk. The owners are a pleasure to deal with - very communicative and supportive throughout your stay. The villa itself is spotlessly clean and superbly equipped with everything one could need - including smart-house controls - and high end fixtures and fittings throughout (2x Bose entertainment systems with surround sound, PS5 games console, Weber gas BBQ, Dolce Gusto coffee machine, etc,). TV wise the system caters for most nationalities, with most major European and USA channels represented in FHD (including all the major sports offerings). WiFi is strong (and fast) throughout the property. The patio/pool/sun longer area have breathtaking views out to sea and down onto the town - and are simply stunning!

Negative: The only real criticism is the amount of CCTV cameras monitoring the grounds of the villa (including the pool/patio/garden/BBQ, etc). On arrival, the owners assured us that the system is switched off when guests were staying, and it was for security when nobody was there - but I guess you only have their word for it?? It didn't really bother us - but if you don't like the thought of being watched - then it could potentially be an issue.... Also worth noting is the pool size. It is a 'plunge pool' - not a swimming pool as such. It was perfect for us as a small family - we mainly used it for chilling out/cooling down on hot days, or for messing around in. If you want to practice for the Olympics, then this won't be the pool for you! Final thing to mention - this is a 'hillside' residence, so it's a reasonably steep uphill walk back from the shops/town.

Positive: We travel a lot and rent a lot of places. This is by far the best place we have ever rented. I cannot say enough good things about it, and the pictures are not even a little bit misleading like in some other vacation rentals. It had everything we needed to relax and enjoy your holiday! Gorgeous interior and exterior design, plenty of space to relax with an amazing pool (not overlooked by other houses or developments), fantastic outdoor shower with hot water, sun loungers and marvelous views over San Augustin and Maspalomas. Martina is a very responsive host and also gave us many good advices soon before our arrival. The Martina’s recommendation of where to shop for groceries, eat out, activities, etc. was thoughtful and much appreciated. Any questions we had were quickly answered. The wifi was excellent. Highly recommend this villa. We were able to disconnect and truly enjoy ourselves. Our only regret is that we did not rent it for longer (we were there for one week). We were sad to leave and will definitely love to come back
