Listen to the waves crashing on the shore, while watching the many sailboats, power boats, cruise ship, freighters, and much more, as they are passing in front of you.
The amazing 5 minutes walk to downtown Tiburon, where you can catch the ferry to San Francisco, Sausalito, Angel Island, Or just stay in town and shop, dine, wine tasting, see a movie, or just have a cup of coffee and watch the many ferries and sailboats coming in and out of the Yacht clubs. Tiburon is home to 2 exclusive yacht clubs, Corinthian Yacht Club, and The San Francisco Yacht Club. There are sailboat races every Friday, Saturday and most Sundays. In town there is a beautiful Library, with two fireplaces. Curl up or bring a book back, and watch the many sailboats and listen to the waves from the panoramic windows. You won't want to leave!
What’s to Like About This Location: Everything! The location is hard to beat! Amazing views you can’t see anywhere else, with a 5-minute walk to town with nothing but incredible views the entire way. From this home you can watch the hundreds of sailboats that race along Raccoon Strait almost every weekend, right in front of the house, along with the giant tankers and container ships that motor through the Golden Gate every day. Angel Island has history dating back to the Civil War days, so take a historical tour of the Island, rent bikes or Segways, walk, or just catch a ride on the Island train. Muir Woods, the wine country, many beaches: all are only a very short drive or ferry ride away. There’s just too much to mention!
Restaurants in Town: Tiburon’s Main Street, an easy 5 minute walk, is picturesque and quaint, with excellent restaurants, including Servino’s (Italian) right on the waterfront, which has no-cover live music many evenings, the famous Sam’s Anchor Café, (known worldwide), Waypoint Pizza, The Tiburon Grill and more. For breakfast or lunch, our favorite is Salt and Pepper or Cafe Acri for the best pastries and espresso, but all cafes serve the best food and coffee, so you can’t go wrong.
Other helpful ideas – Woodlands Market (groceries), a wonderful movie theater, drycleaners, an amazing library with two fireplaces and a wealth of information on our little town community called Tiburon and Belvedere.
Friday Nights in Tiburon: Friday nights are something really special in Tiburon. Between April and October, the Main Street is closed to traffic and there’s a big street party on Friday nights. The restaurants serve dinner al fresco, and there are two or more live bands! Also, on Friday nights, from 5:30 to 8:00 PM, check out the Friday Night Races at the Corinthian Yacht Club and San Francisco Yacht Club (April to September). You can watch the races from shore, or if you want to volunteer (no charge, no experience necessary), you can be a crew member on a race! If you’re interested in this, please ask the owner, he’ll fill you in on the details. If you are a sailing enthusiast, we definitely need to talk!

Summary: What a terrific spot... the view, the kitchen, the space... all completely as advertised. Easy living with a view of the Golden Gate Bridge... beautiful sunrises and sunsets... lots of space to spread out... comfortable beds... fully stocked kitchen for anything you'd like to prepare. Sandy was responsive and a truly wonderful host... she even provided holiday decorations as we stayed over the Christmas season. Would definitely return. Thanks Sandy!!!

Summary: Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sandy's and Courtney's place. It was a home away from home with a peaceful and beautiful garden and a tastefully decorated interior. Sandy is an exceptional outdoor and indoor designer! The place was well equipped with all necessary items for a most comfortable stay indeed. The water views from the bedrooms, patio off the kitchen were gorgeous and downtown Tiburon was a leisurely walk away. Sandy and Courtney were the most wonderful hosts, welcoming, friendly, helpful and always available to answer any questions we had. Sandy and Courtney, thank you a most enjoyable and memorable stay!

Summary: Arrived late in heavy rain . Courtney escorted us in, where we found a Fire blazing in the artistic three -sides fireplace, and a beautiful array of snacks and beverage. Sandy and Courtney are excellent hosts and guides,and we loved the convenience of the Ferries shuttling to and from the City and Angel Island. We know the City well, and made several forays in , but also explored much of Marin, Napa, and Sonoma. The panoramic views with the ever changing skies highlighting San Franciscoand the Golden Gate are awe inspiring. The amazingly well appointed kitchen allowed us to enjoy water view dining ,( we never did make it to the recommended breakfast joint!) . All in all we found beauty, solace, and peace here.

Summary: Our stay in this fantastic 2 bedroom unit began with a warn and friendly greeting from the owner. She went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and she provided thorough details about how to use the amenities within the unit ( TV's, appliances, etc). The views from the unit are spectacular. (Angel Island, the GG bridge, downtown SF) Sunday morning was especially nice as we ate breakfast in the kitchen and watched sailboats racing around the bridge and Angel Island. The unit is within easy walking distance to downtown Tiburon, and we enjoyed many morning and evening strolls during our stay for breakfast and dinner. Dining tip: try the kale pasta and noche at Servino restaurant in Tiburon. All handmade fresh each day. Using this unit as home base is very practical because it is near most vacation attractions including Muir Woods, Sausalito, Golden Gate Bridge, etc, and downtown San Francisco in 30-40 minutes via GG bridge. You can also choose to get to Alcatraz/Angel Island/Sausalito/Pier 39 by ferry . The property was very clean and well-maintained. We'll be returning.

Summary: My family of four (including two teenagers) had a wonderful time in this Tiburon home. The house is wonderfully comfortable and appointed with everything you need (and then some)! The owner is incredibly responsive and easy to work with. The surrounding area has so much to offer (walking/running trails, a great market within walking distance, incredible views, and just minutes to the 101 and downtown SF). We loved being so close to everything in the Bay area while enjoying the peace of the Tiburon peninsula. I highly recommend this property!

Summary: This was our first visit to San Francisco. The property was amazing. It was so clean, peaceful and completely relaxing.All ages are catered for ( there was 7 of us ranging from 4 to 51 years of age) and the view was exquisite. The owners were amazing and so accommodating and friendly. They showed us around the town ( which is beautiful) and nothing was too much trouble. They certainly added to this wonderful experience. We would defiantly stop there again. This is a gem of a house, wonderfully situated and tastefully decorated and well equipped. Thanks for an amazing stay.

Summary: We've stayed in San Francisco many times and thought we'd try something different by staying across the bay. We are very happy with our decision. The property is a hidden gem with spectacular views of San Francisco and the Golden Gate bridge. Sitting on the patio at night, enjoying the views, is a great way to end the day after a day of outings. We also enjoyed the short walk to town each morning and evening for dining and there are many excellent choices in restaurants. We would definitely stay here again when we're in the area.

Summary: This property is everything it claims to be and more. You have to see it to believe it. Incredible view of the Bay and Golden Gate Bridege out of the master and kitchen windows. I went with my wife and 4 (teenage and above) children. Things got a little crowded in the bathroom at times, but they loved it. We had an amazing time. Walked to Tiburon. Took the ferry to the San Francisco. My only regret is that we couldn't stay longer! The furnishings were incredible. The house was immaculate. Everything you need to cook or prepare a meal at home. I hope to return for another getaway with just my wife next time. Thanks Courtney and Sandy for creating a such a stunning home away from home!
