Positive: We had a wonderful stay in the shepherd’s hut. The location was absolutely beautiful and so peaceful, with plenty of birdlife to enjoy right outside. The hut itself was exceptionally clean, well looked after, and very comfortable. Breakfast being included was a lovely touch and made the mornings even more relaxing. A perfect little escape — highly recommended

Positive: Loved the theme of the hut. I loved how the keener had kindly made the bed for my arrival after visiting Stonehenge really early in the morning. I loved how there were chickens I think they were Türkiye’s and a peacock roaming free it was so peaceful and allowed for mindfulness and relaxation.

Negative: There was nothing I didn’t like about the property.

Summary: Somewhere I will want to stay again and again.

Positive: Didn't use the breakfast facilities. Location was great as it was close to the event we were attending.

Negative: The hut could have benefitted from a chair in the space to put clothes on etc.

Positive: Excellent location. We stayed here whilst travelling from Rossendale to the Cotswolds and then to Stonehenge (a simple 7 minute drive away). After checking out we moved down to Cheddar Gauge. It was the perfect place to stop and had easy access and parking for cars. The farm and grounds within which the hut is set is simply idyllic. Peacocks strolling, Goat Kids happily leaping around their pen, chickens clucking away and of course we had visits from the dog and cat too who are adorable. The cabin is well equipped for short or longer stays: the fridge stocked well with treats, fresh eggs, butter and milk from the farm all add that quirky, personalised touch. In short; this place was a treasured find and we will certainly be back and recommending to all!

Negative: Couldn’t fault a thing. We will certainly be back

Summary: Beautiful hut in a wonderful setting, I only wish we would have booked a longer stay!

Positive: Had the most wonderful three days on the farm. We couldn't have asked for more. Host Nicki and the family were great and even let us spend time with their beautiful baby goats. The highlight of the week was being greeted each morning by Feena the dog. The hut was imaculate and very cozy.
