Positive: It is a lovely, spacious, authentic cottage. We liked the fact that there was a complimentary welcome pack with a bottle of fizz and crisps etc. That was a lovely touch.

Positive: This cosy, clean & well equipped cottage is a perfect relaxing getaway. We had a mixed bag of weather but watching the storm roll in and out across the hills was really something else. The beds are super comfortable and the owner left lots of little treats, which were appreciated! Our children and dog loved the garden and walk around the reservoir. The bath with the view is unmatched. The owner has great communication and you really are left alone to enjoy this retreat. Cottage is close to skipton & Bolton abbey. We loved the little pubs in the Embsay village too. Would definitely recommend.

Positive: The host was so kind and helpful. The accommodation was absolutely stunning. I would have stayed longer if we’d have been able to. I was worried because the location was remote that we wouldn’t have anything to do. But the little towns were wonderful and the property alone was enough to entertain us.
