Pateo Do Convento was formerly a convent in the heart of Lagos which has been tastefully converted into a luxury residential condominium. The property is one of the very few in the town with a swimming pool (25 meters).
The accommodation is a luxury, inward-facing, furnished 2nd Floor (with lift), apartment with a large, sunny balcony with a breathtaking view over the pool and the tended gardens and the remains of the convent behind. Fast-fibre WIFI and air conditioning (hot and cold) are available throughout the apartment.
Allocated parking is provided in a secure, remote entry garage, directly underneath the building.
There is a Smart TV with a full TV package comprising local, UK and foreign channels including Sports channels.
The apartment is in an ideal location. The Marina is only a short 5-minute walk across the footbridge over the river. The old town centre is a similar distance away with its cobbled streets, restaurants and bars, churches, museums and shops,
The breathtaking, sandy Meia Praia beach (5 km long) is a 10-15 minute walk away, and there are also several town Beaches. A longer walk or short drive will take you to Praia Dona Ana (the most photographed beach in the Algarve). By car, Praia de Luz, Burgau, Sagres and Silves are all also easily accessible.
The bus station is a 2-minute walk and is an easy and inexpensive alternative to hiring a car. The Algarve is renowned for its first-class golf courses, some of which are in or close to Lagos.
For entertainment, there are boat trips, dolphin spotting, golf, sailing, water parks, water sports, surfing, walking, museums, and churches. The restaurants in the old town's warren of cobbled streets are a food lover's paradise; with cusines from all over the world.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay. The apartment is very nice and very good equipped. Kitchen equipment is very uselful. Balcony is lovely and beds are comfortable. We had a very relaxing stay - everything was fine. The hosts are very nice. We got all information, we needed - and a “starter kit” for arrival. Quick responses. Location is very good: supermarket, beach and “downtown” are all within walkable distance. Dear hosts: thank you very much for letting us stay in your lovely apartment.

Summary: Modern, well appointed and presented apartment. Very well maintained and lovely pool area. The hosts were fantastic from the point of booking and communication was great, we emailed them with a question and they called us. Everything we needed and more was there for our use. Will definitely book again.

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 weeks in Pateo do Convento. The apartment was in a great central location. It was spotless and the kitchen was very well equipped. The beds were very comfortable, the shower was great and the welcome pack on arrival was most welcome. The balcony wasn't however as sunny as we had hoped. The sun was completely gone by about 2.30/3pm each day. There were also a couple of inaccuracies in the property description i.e. there was no barbeque, no parasol and there were no Irish tv stations available on the tv. Only minor niggles. We would have no hesitation in recommending this property

Summary: The apartment is wonderful. Almost like being in a resort - the complex is immaculate as is the apartment. Pete and Sharon are super easy to deal with. Thank you Pete for teaching me that Lixo is garbage in Portuguese.😎 There was a super welcome kit with food and wine. Unexpected cleaning and linen change partway through by Linda which was great. It is located at the very edge of the old town so you get the best of all worlds- parking is included and greatly appreciated. Every little detail was provided toilet paper, paper towels, oil vinegar, spices, high-quality dishes, and glasses. Good cleaning supplies. The apartment gets sun all day. And has a big view to a large open space with the convent straight ahead. And of course the pool down below. Simply the best choice.

Summary: We stayed here in May 2023 and absolutely loved it! We had booked to go in 2020 but had to cancel due to Covid and we are so glad we chose to book again! The apartment is beautiful, it looks exactly like the pictures, was very clean and the use of the shared pool was amazing! It is in a great location for bars, restaurants and shops. Craig and Debbie were lovely, they communicated all the required information efficiently and answered any questions we had. We would highly recommend this apartment and would love to go back in the future!
