Unparalleled scenery, greenery, foliage. This modern, furnished house directly overlooks the lake, with private dock. New appliances, fireplaces upstairs and down, ice maker, wine cooler. Master bedroom includes private bathroom. Spectacular views from the rear deck, side deck has retractable awning. 2 Kayaks, 1 canoe, 3 pedal bikes available.
Rafting, tubing, boating, hiking nearby. Lake George, Great Escape, Saratoga, all within easy driving distance.
*The House includes 3 bedrooms on the main floor:
- Master bedroom, with 4-poster, king-size bed and private bath/shower.
- Guest bedroom #1: 1 Queen, 1 Twin size bed
- Guest bedroom #2: 1 Queen, 1 Double size bed
- Sleeps 6 adults or 6 adults + 2 children, max.
- futon/double bunk beds downstairs in the finished basement
Entertainment:
All bedrooms come equipped with a wide-screen TV. The master bedroom smart-TV includes our NetFlix subscription and supports a wide variety of streaming content.
Upstairs and downstairs Entertainment Center (EC) TVs have connected Blu-Ray players and are enabled for streaming media, including NetFlix, via attached Roku devices. A 5.1 audio system is installed in the downstairs EC.
There are a number of books and DVDs in the house. A variety of board games are stored in the closet adjacent to the downstairs EC. There is also a piano keyboard.
Towels and blankets provided for all rooms. LINENS PROVIDED FOR THE MASTER BEDROOM ONLY. If you would like us to provide the sheets for additional beds, there is a $15 charge per set - to offset our cost for having the cleaning service remove, launder and return them to the house. Extra sheet charges - if applicable - are assessed separately (usually as deductions from your security deposit). They are not included in your rental quote.

Rental Policy: No pets & no smoking. $300 security deposit required and refunded upon satisfactory inspection of property. Until confirmed, rates subject to change without notice. Renters must comply with the waste recycling policies of the House* and the Town of Edinburg and must place waste in the bin provided for pick-up prior to 8:00 AM on Monday, additional charges (deducted from security deposit) will be levied for non-compliance.
Dock Availability. Water levels on Great Sacandaga Lake can vary by eleven feet or more. Generally they are highest in the Spring and lowest in the Winter. To avoid damage from lake ice or contact with the lake bed, the dock is removed from service shortly after Labor Day returned to service in mid-May. With the dock removed, the lake is accessible via the stairway at the rear terrace (see picture in listing).
Renters must be at least 25 years old. All rentals begin at 4:00PM and end at 11:00AM unless otherwise specified.
*All recyclables must be emptied, rinsed clean and shaken dry before being placed in the labeled bins located in the garage. Please take all 'for deposit' bottles and cans with you when you leave, to redeem your deposit. (Plastic bags are available in the cabinet at the back of the garage.)

Summary: We have now stayed at this property for two Easter’s and my son’s birthday. He refers to it as “The Holiday House”. The owners are great and throughly explain the check in and check out process. The house has the most stunning view of the Great Sacandaga. There is a pong table and foosball in the finished basement and plenty of bedding. Hoping to someday get a chance to stay during the summer so we can utilize the lake that I love so much. I grew up camping on it and my version of camping now is renting a house lol Thabk you again for another fabulous stay. Until next time!

Summary: My family and I enjoyed our stay at this property very much. Everything was so perfect—the house was immaculate, tastefully decorated, and clean, well stocked with everything we needed. The owners made sure that guests are not bored. Between the board games, the well connected home with connected TVs in every room, and the sports equipment (kayaks and bicycles), there was plenty of things to do during our stay. Our kids had a great time with the foosball and ping pong tables. Everything about the property was so clearly explained and organized that we had minimal interactions with the owner but any questions we had were answered promptly. If you’re looking for a relaxing, quiet vacation by a lake, I highly recommend this property. It’s perfect for families and couples!

Summary: This lakefront home is a dream to visit! The hosts were reachable and even sent reminders so we’d know when to put trash cans out. They had organized manuals, labeled light switches, and a kitchen stocked for all cooking. It couldn’t have been a better experience. And the lake! Oh my goodness. It is gorgeous, the dock is large and stable, and the water is deep enough there for fishing. We had a wonderful stay. Thank you, Larry and Stuart, for your hospitality and sharing your beautiful home with us.
