Summary: We really enjoyed our time in this house on Lake Gaston. It was the perfect blend of relaxing space and fun activity on the water. We spent most days swimming off the dock, and evenings eating together, playing pool and other games, and just hanging out. This house allowed us all to have our own space and be together as a family.

Summary: We were a party of 18 with ages ranging from 15-80+. There is plenty of space for everyone to spread out and have multiple different activities going on at the same time. It was also nice being just off the main lake out of the wind and wake to swim. This is the third house we’ve rented at Lake Gaston and will likely come back.

Summary: Very nice home, comfortable furnishings. We all enjoyed our stay. Our suggestions: Needs an ice maker as 2 of the 4 freezers did not freeze well. Only upstairs kitchen freezer made ice and there was not enough for our group size. We only used it for drinks, not to fill coolers. Yard has chiggers!!! First time encounter with them, needs to be treated. We were all badly bitten. Never experienced that before at this lake or anywhere in VA or NC. I realize they exist but have never been bitten before, required an urgent care visit for 1 member of our group. Great pontoon boat and would recommend you rent theirs. Wonderful water toys and the dock was a favorite place to hang. The kids loved the theater room. Yard trash cans invaded by raccoons, need a storage cabinet for the trash cans! I would definitely rent this house again!
